Hi everyone:

Next year we are planning to go three days to Vegas and then drive a rental car from Vegas to Disneyland in Claifornia. Here is where we need some help. How many days will I need to see Disneyland? Where do we stay? Do they have a resort or tow The DWF and I have always been at WDW and no nothing about Disneyland. Any help would be appreciated.

DH and I did the same thing this past March. We flew from FL to Vegas and met up with friends for three days and then just the two of us drove to Disneyland. It was a nice drive, about four hours and really scenic driving through the desert and mountains. The rental car did cost us a little more than we expected because we picked it up in Vegas but then dropped if off at the airport in Anaheim which we flew home out of.

We booked one of the "good neighbor" hotels on the street right near Disneyland and were very unhappy with the quality (I guess we are too used to Disney hotels) so after the first night we called and booked a room for the next two nights at The Grand Californian. That hotel is awesome and if you can afford it (not cheap!) I highly recommend it.

This was our first trip to DL and we spent a total of 3 days (2 at DL and 1 at DCA) which worked out fine for us. We got to see and ride everything we wanted (even though it was a very crowded time when we went). Hope this all helps a little. Enjoy your trip!

You should visit the parks for 3 days and get a 3 day park hopper ticket.
You should stay wherever your budget allows. The nicest hotel is the Grand Californian and there is a super 8 motel walking distance from the parks.

When you go to WDW, do you prefer a deluxe, moderate or value?
Check out the Disneyland section of allearsnet. It has a lot of helpful information about the hotels, parks restaurants etc.

You should go to Disneyland for 2 days, and california adventure 1 day. MAKE SURE you go to Paradise Pier around midday. Why? Because me and my family made the mistake of going at night. All the best rides in the park close early for World of Color:(. As for the hotels. You should read reviews for the good neighbor hotels.

2 or 3 Days...that depends on if you want to get to the parks when they open, if you can go to the parks (not around Holidays) you can do everything in two days, but 3 days if you want to relax and just enjoy the parks.

As someone said earlier WOC shuts down most the rides at night on the Pier. Fantasmic also makes it a little harder to get to rides like HM, Pirates and splash (ps Splash NEVER has lines after 8 at night)

As for hotels you can't g wrong...I've been to one of the not so nicer Hotels the Super 8 (not farter one) and it was ok but not bad either.
