2010 Tournament of Bad - WDW Style - Nominations

The way the board is going these days, I thought it would be fun to set up a little tournament to show what is the worst thing about Disney World in 2010.

It's pretty simple. I'll first ask for nominations about what is bad...heck, look into some of the heated threads around here and you'll have plenty to nominate. Don't go into a diatribe about why you think something is bad. Just what you think is bad. Try to not post something again and again down the nomination thread. Once is enough to nominate it. It can be something serious or something stupid...it just has to be bad.

Once we get 32 good nominations, the tournament will start. I will post the match-ups and you will have 3 days to vote per round. Each board member can only vote once. At the end of the tournament, we will know what is the worst thing about Disney in 2010.

Nothing is off limits. It can be anything in the world of WDW. Operations, ownership, decisions, people in the parks, etc.

Off the top of my head, here are a couple I thought of:

Brazilian tour groups.
The Yeti not working.
Resort Pool Hopping.
People who shouldn't wear what they are wearing.

Most of all...HAVE FUN with this. It isn't supposed to be an attack on anyone or anything that someone thinks...IT'S FUN!!!!

Heck, in our run-ins in the past I know you can't stand Strollers.

So you could put that down.

Again..Have fun with it.

I would prefer not to dewel on the negative enough to participate in the organization of a tournament highlighting 32 things I dislike about a place.

In fact, if I was displeased with 32 individual aspects of WDW, my money would be better spent elsewhere.

It will be interesting to see what develops because of this, but I don't think I'll be taking part.

I don't mind strollers. I don't like 16 year old kids in strollers.

That's your perogative. It's supposed to be in fun. If you choose to take it another way and "dwell" then so be it. And to be clear, it isn't 32 things YOU don't like about it. It's something you don't like compared to something others don't like.

It's easy enough to stay out of the thread.

Considering the hyperbole involved in that statement, it wouldn't be accurate so no.

Have fun with this.... but i'm a fanatic about Disney. I tend to think of these boards as a celebration of Disney, not a chance to celebrate it's negatives tournament style. Interesting idea and i love the tournement style threads on these boards, but not for celebrating the negatives.

To clarify...All of us being here and posting so much shows that we are all fanatics about Disney and we all love it. It isn't unique to one poster or another. We all are.

Even if you don't "celebrate" them, the negatives are still there. This is to determine what this board thinks is the worst...in a fun way. Not a point and counter point debate that gets heated. A simple listing of things that people think are bad and votes to determine what "wins".

Life's too short to take things so seriously. Have fun with it.

Whatever...I'm in the games threads having fun with the others who post there, so you're totally wrong with that statement. Again, you need to lighten up and have some fun with the things that are "bad" with WDW.

And Kaos, I see you are from Chicago. If you listen to Sports Radio in town, The Score to be exact, they run their TOB and it is a riot. I thought folks around here would be able to have a little fun with this since MANY of the posts here do deal with complaints and other things people don't like.

You missed the entire point. It isn't something to keep you away. It's something you think is bad in WDW.
