WED enterprises aka WDI has a yearly competition for those in collage to cpmpete in, out in Glendale CA. If you type in the address bar above

www.imaginations.com you'll be taken to the contest link. Or hopefully the hyperlink will work. Good luck to those who have entered the contest. Just remember that any help from an WED enterprises Imagineer will make your entry null and void. Well anyway goold luck and have fun.

Yes my team has submitted a proposal. More information and photos will come soon, especially after we're chosen as finalists, because I am fairly certain we will win.

I would like to hear from anyone else who has submitted for this contest.

I guess I have a quick question: How "technical" does your entry have to be? If your entry discusses some type of new ride system, do you have to physically design it (i.e. use proper engineering techniques to formulate actual blueprints), or can you be more vague?

What's the balance they expect between artistry and physical science?

oh...and GOOD LUCK.

As a current Sophomore, it may be something I look into in the next couple of years.

Very cool. I would love to see what you guys came up with. From your confidence, it must be amazing.

Again, good luck. I wish you the best.

They say one of the prefered characteristics is being from another country or something along those lines. Do you think I could claim Westchester County as foreign... :lookaroun

EDIT: I just scrolled down the rest of the page. Never mind...

I was wondering if anyone (ie: past finalists or whatever) know the schedule of events for the ImagiNations finals in June. Do most of the events happen at Disneyland? or at the Glendale offices? Because it would be awesome to have some time to do some park touring on our own!

anyway, if anyone knows please let me know

Jr.

I only thought you can submit very little to the evaluation. It's really cool that you can do more though and even an entire theme park...

But of course if you want to do an entire theme park, you need to make it more than a shallow piece of work, so it's definitly more difficult and you guys much have spend a great deal of time on it...
