Here's the Germany page from allearsnet.com, showing a pic of what was originally going to be the ride building.

Am I missing something? I can`t see anything that wasn`t built. As far as I`m aware, no art was released of the Rhine River Ride. Nor Italys Gondola ride. The only official art for a 1982 pavilion add on I`ve seen was the UK`s Crystal Palace.

I do have a plan from someone based on what the German ride layout may have been:

True, I haven't seen any art either. I was going based on the assumption that people had confirmed the plans for the ride. I do believe Jim Hill did an article on it a while back, if that adds any credibility.

Or close to 2 years ago when it was first posted. ;)

 I got an e-mail notification about replies to this thread, and said, "Hmmm...when did I post THERE? I must be losing my mind!" Then I checked the date...

Anyway, thanks again for posting the article!

The building is there, it is just entirely empty. and actually in Japan there is an empty building that is used partially as a merchandise shop now. Originally, when you passed over the bridge into the Imperial Palace ther was going to be a ride in there also.
