Been to Disney dozens of times before, but first time with 2 little ones. Not sure what all we need to prepare for, but we are trying to get everything in order now. We'll be there in early December for a week at Coronado Springs.

Just recently found out about Garden Grocer - that sounds like a wise move.
We plan on bringing a double stroller.

*please refrain from abbreviations, I'm new here*

the one thing i would have is a rain cover for double stroller. stroller parking is not rain protected. nothing worse than a wet seat for baby. if you are using garden grocer would order as much as possible from them to get free delivery. plan on touring parks on kids terms not yours. most of all enjoy thru them. would also bring the heavy coats in case weather turns cold, i would rather have and not need than to need and not have.

Make sure you know where the baby centers are located in each park. Traveling with a 5month old, Mom and baby may want some quite time without having to go all the way back to resort...

Great information! Thank you!

Another question - water parks - I know they are heated, which one is best for two little ones?

I use to bring;

A beach towel when my two were little. It could be used as a sun shade for the stroller (I would throw it over the stroller shade cover and it would give more coverage and a semi-dark place to have a snooze). If it rained in the parks you could use it to dry off benches or seats. And if the little one(s) want to get wet in the splash areas you have a towel to give 'em a quick dry off.

Some glow sticks. Avoids you having to buy the expensive light up toys at Disney. And when my toddler use to get nervous on dark rides we would just crack open a glow stick for him. It's bright enough that it would take away his fears and keep him entertained but not bright enough to interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the ride.

Wipes. Lots and lots of wipes!

Mommy Hook. http://www.themommyhook.com/ It's great for hanging bags and such off the back of the stroller while you're touring. Just make sure not to hang to much on it - I've seen a few strollers tip over backwards!

Glow sticks are a great idea, and we already have something similar to the Mommy Hook. Both will come in handy - thanks!

Don't forget that at CSR you only have a mini fridge. It was pretty good to keep the milk in for our 1 yr old on our past trip, but it really wont keep too many cold items in it. I will say being at CSR with the little ones make sure to request a room close to either bus stop 2 or 3, as the order of the stops goes 2,3,4,1 and gettting on at bus stop 1 with a double stroller and two little ones may not easily afford you the room and or seats. Have a fantastic trip and enjoy my families favorite resort!!!!

Snacks! I'm all for eating resort food, as that's part of the fun, but a 2 yo in a long line needs goldfish, or something along those lines. If your 2 yo drinks a lot of milk, get some tetra packs of milk that don't require refrigeration so you can always have some on hand without worrying about spoilage. PP mentioned buses--be prepared for boarding them with a double stroller. Remember that they will not allow the children to be in the stroller while on the bus. You'll need one parent to take care of the kids while the other manages the stroller.

I haven't tried it yet as we didn't make it to Tomorrowland on my trip with kids, but I'm told the People Mover is an all-time favorite with the preschoolers, and that the train (from Main Street USA or Frontierland) is a good place to encourage a nap without going back to the hotel as you can just ride it in circles. The baby station in Magic Kingdom is near the Crystal Palace and has nursing areas as well as highchairs and a place to heat bottles. Each of the parks (I think) has something like this.

I would recommend a few SippiGrip straps, they are straps that you can attach to the stroller to keep cups and toys from hitting the dirty ground, Plus it saves them from getting lost. I like to carry a Neat Sheet with me to cover the stroller from rain but it also doubles as a ground cover to sit on while watching the parades. As a previous poster said SNACKS!!!!! they are a life saver when you are waiting in line and stickers are fun and not very messy thing to be able to play with while in line.
