In exactly two weeks from today my package starts at Disney!:sohappy:
I'm sitting here in my living room and it just doesn't seem real to me! I have a hard time getting it through my head that in two weeks I will be walking around the world and on vacation. It just isn't sinking in. I've done all the normal pre-trip stuff such as the ADR's and the trip is paid off but to me it seems months away still. I'm hoping that when I do the online check in a few days from now it will hit me. Actually, that's starting to do it. I can check in later this week...... how unreal is that!? Does anyone else get like this? Of course the flip side to this is, in three weeks my Disney vacation will be over and it makes me sad. I'm driving myself insane!!

It's the same for us - my husband keeps wishing here to fast - I tell him not to wish it away - the sooner it comes the sooner it ends - make it last.

We leave in 2.5 weeks and we're all crazy excited. It's amazing that we can leave Indiana at 7AM and by 11AM can be walking down Main Street looking at the castle.

We love - love Walt Disney World!!!! :sohappy:

We are driving from Pa and I thought I would be packed already but it's been warmer here than usual so we are still wearing some of the stuff that needs to be packed. I'm think I'm more excited about this trip than others because it's the first time I am going as an adult and without parents with me. Now, I'm 38 but I always went with my parents when I was younger and then since my parents are divorced that last two trips had been my husband I taking one of them along so they could each have a chance going with their grandkids. While I think it's nice that we can all go together it's going to be less stressful and more relaxing because it's just going to be me, my husband, and my 12 year old daughter. My son (he's 16) doesn't want to go. He didn't inherit my love of Disney. I'm looking forward to no sibling rivalry or fighting, not having to worry about my parents keeping up and trying to find things that they can do with us, and taking my husband to the Poly for the first time. I've been there before but not since I've met him. I'm soooo excited for him to have the monorail and the theming of the Poly since he's not a Disney fan and this resort might help make him one, at least a little bit.

Woo hoo for your upcoming trip!! :sohappy:

Have a great time and I hope that your husband drinks the Disney kool aid and becomes just as much of a Disney fan as you are. I know that the first time my hubby went to WDW with me, he was NOT a fan at all. He thought it was just a place for kids. Now, well - he loves it almost as much as I do and we are already planning our September 2011 trip. So, I have faith that the pixie dust will draw your better half into the web. :)

2 weeks and counting for my family and I as well, and like everyone else, time can't move fast enough to get there, but crossing fingers it slows down to a crawl once we get there....Unfortunately, that never seems to be the case!!

Are you leaving your 16-year-old at home alone?

Sounds like he might be a little too ready for the parents to take the sister to Disney World, so he can do some "grown-up" partying at home.

4 days for us. 4 days!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I have went over all the reservations a million times. Called and confirmed our requests on room preferance. Went over all the maps and plans. Just ready to get there and let the fun begin. :sohappy:

You're so lucky! I think everyone has that feeling where the trip is practically around the corner, and it really hasn't "hit you yet." I normally go over my plans, double check my ADRs, etc. I also watch our vacation videos, planning DVDs, and Travel Channel specials that I have recorded. It just helps to keep you in the "Disney mood." I have until Dec '11, and even then I'm not sure if we'll be able to go next year.

I hope all of those going have a great time. Remember to post some pictures and do a trip report. Situations have arisen and I have not been back to WDW for over 6 years. I am still living vicariously through all of you. The more you enjoy, the more I do.

I have 811 days 18 hours 59 minutes and 45 seconds until my next vacation! :ROFLOL:

Time seems to stand still when you are just 'moments away' from a Disney vacation!:ROFLOL:

I am recouperating from Oral Surgery anyways with a mouthful of stitches and swollen face that makes me look like Marlin Brando, and no teeth! But the reward will be in 3 months when I get my new smile and have enough time to learn to eat with new choppers before I head off to Disney World with A BRAND NEW DISNEY SMILE! You better believe I will be smiling in ALL my pictures!

Hope you all remember that you dreams really do come true when you wish upon a star!! Have a Magical Day!

Will
 from PA!!

2 weeks for us also!! Actually, 2 weeks from 2 days ago... but in two weeks we'll be there.

And - the coming home isn't so bad... because that's when I'll start planning the NEXT trip (even if it's a long ways away).
