2 Tables and the Patio...

Hey folks...

Just my my ADRS for when we're going to WDW and since we have a party of 7, two of the reservations I got, they had to put us at two tables.

My question: Do they try to keep your party together? I KNOW that nothing is guaranteed, but if we show up about 15 before our PS and at least ASK that they be together...is it worth a shot?

2nd Question (I'm just full of them lately...sadly that's what you all have to endure as Santa decided to send the Fam to Disney for Spring Break this year :~):

If we have PS at the Rose n Crown Pub for 8 p.m. (Two Tables, again), obviously we'll still be there as Illuminations is going on. What are the chances of us getting a patio seat? We've done it before, but it's 1)Never been Spring Break and 2) Never had to have 2 Tables. Can we ask for that if we get there early?

Hit me with your best folks!;)

It certainly never hurts to ask. However, I would imagine that since PS is based on estimating how long it takes a party to eat and when a table might be opened up, Disney has no way of guaranteeing that the two seats coming up at a given time will be side by side. The one seat that comes open might be on one end of the patio, and the next one that comes open might be clear on the other side. I really don't see how they can guarantee that you will have your tables side by side. It just seems to me that it would be purely a matter of chance.

But I may be totally wrong, too. That was just based on my understanding of how the whole system works, but I could be totally off.

Everytime we go to Disney we usually have a party of about 10 or a little more and we usually always need 2 tables. I think that every single time they have put us next or near each other. You could always ask ahead of time but I would think it'd be safe to say that you will be next/near each other.

Definitely ask them to put you together. They are required to tell you that since it is two tables there is no guarantee, however they will make the effort. The tricky part about being on the patio is that it's just the luck of the draw as to whether or not you get out there. Combine that with the fact that you have two tables, and it is extremely unlikely (although not impossible). You'll just have to decide what your priority is.
