I don't know how they'll do that whole 14º weather thing, but I guess I'll find out this week when I do all the interviews and write the darned thing!

My favorite sport to cover would probably be football. They gave the column on the Super Bowl to a guy. Oh well, guess I'll just have to prove to them that I am good enough to cover anything they throw at me!! (haha, sports pun, "throw", eh, nevermind)

Sounds like you're in for some exciting times. Will you have to cover all sporting events of the school, or will you work specified assignments? Will you get to do profiles of key athletes, stuff like that? Just try not to run afoul of anyone.

It turns out I'll always have something to write about this season. Our small school is number one in the Big South Conference for men's bball and baseball.

It depends on the week, but I will get to do "A day in the life" stories of some major athelets we have here as well as free admission to every sporting event to cover it or just get some photos.

Wow, just talking about it gets me excited even more!! :sohappy:
