Hi Folks..If all going well in 2015, we will be staying at AKL...And on the Free:) DDP...We are wanting to visit Yachtsmen Steakhouse ( 2 credits ) But want to try another 2 credit restaurant. Now I've ruled out Le Cellier ( didn't enjoy it when it was 1 credit ) ...What other 2 credit restaurant would you recommend???:hungry:...

My favorite is Flying Fish, as well, but...

Since you're staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jiko would be a great choice. It's a fantastic restaurant with a pretty unique menu for the parks. You can go back to your room and get freshened up before dinner without having to travel to get to your reservation afterward. Just head down to the lobby level. When you factor in everything for your situation, it's definitely the all-around winner, I think.

Oh, and if you count the one in the restaurant proper, there are two lounges for pit stops along the way.

On the basic DDP, the only 2TS restaurant worth doing is HDDR (fun show, decent food, unlimited beer.. even if it is Bud Light, wine and sangria). I personally don't like the idea of using 2 credits and only getting half a meal and having to pay extra for apps and wine/cocktails.

With that being said, if you must use 2TS credits on a Signature restaurant, you can't go wrong with either Flying Fish, Citricos or Jiko.

Hollywood Brown Derby, the food is good and the atmoshpere is, of course, Old Hollywood. Citrico's and narcoosee's are also options as is Artist Point, they always have a Bison dish on the menu.

Depends if you want great food with views. I would go for California Grill, Narcoossees', and maybe Fultons Crab House. I love food with a view, not a cramped closed in place like LeCellier.
