1st WDW trip report

Hi everyone, I'm new to this website and i absolutely love it. I check daily and read everyone else's trip reports. Finally it is my turn to make my own trip report.

This will be my family's first trip to Walt Disney World and we are so excited. We will be going June 22 to June 29th, for 7 days. We have the 7 day tickets with the water parks and more and of course the park hopper. We also have the dining plan. During the trip we will be celebrating my son's 6th birthday and my anniversery. THe people who will be going on this trip will be me Denisse 22, my boyfriend Miguel 22, my son Adrian 5, and my little brother Raul 12.

As far as any plans we do not have an exact idea of all the things we want to do but we do have ADR's for the week.

I have a copy of the unoffical guide and was thinking about doing the tour plans but i am not to sure.

I will post again with more specific plans. We are all super excited

first off, welcome! :D very exciting about your upcoming trip! i love the unofficial guide. i think its worth a shot to try out the touring plans to see if its right for you. especially since you will be going during a busier time of year. the touring plans should cut down on the amount of time you have to stand in lines for attractions. i can't wait to read your trip report when you return. make sure to take lots of pictures!!

This is what i have planned so far as far as what park we choose.

Day 1 (6/22)
Arrive at MCO 1:15
Check in, Im estimating around 3 o clock hopefully our room will be ready that way we can drop off our carry ons and then head to
Magic Kingdom. This will be a way to get us really excited for the week not that we wont already be. We have a dinner reservation at
Crystal Palace 6:55pm. We plan to watch the night parade at 9 and then the fireworks. Then we will head back to the hotel.

Day 2 (6/23):
Magic Kingdom. I want to plan to be there before openning time. I have read just about everywhere that it is best to arrive before openning. Knowing my family it may be hard work to wake up early, but we will see. So that means i want to be there no later than 8:30am. So i plan for earlier? On this day we will hopefully attempt to use the touring plan for the day. We will make it through the afternoon and then head back for a little rest. We have ADR for Coral Reef at Epcot at 7pm so we will head to epcot around 5 or 6. We will just play by ear as far as what we do after dinner. Maybe watch illuminations. Looking at the calendar we will probably do this that way the following night as we have ADR at epcot again we can do the attractions during that illuminations presentation and there is the EMH evening.

Day 3 (6/24):
On this day we will do Animal Kingdom. Again we will be there before openning. We will follow the touring plans depending on how it worked out for us. I hear that this park does not take all day to tour. We will head back to the hotel (Movies Resort, i dont think i said that we were staying there) for a rest or a swim. We will then head to Epcot for dinner at San Angel Inn at Epcot 6pm and plan to stay for the evening EMH.

Day 4 (6/25):
THis day will be my sons birthday. I want to do something special but im not to sure what. I keep trying to talk him into doing the pirates league but he doesnt sound too interested in that. I'm thinking this day he will get to choose which park he attends.I was also thinking about booking the fireworks pirate voyeage tour. So as of right now all we have planned for sure the dinner at Chef Mickeys at 6:30pm. I am also going to order a cake but have not gotten that done yet.

Day 5 (6/26):
This day we might do a waterpark for half of the day. My boyfriend will probably be the only one who will really enjoy this. As i have read it seems as if there are alot of big water slides, im not in to that too much, nor is my little brother let alone my 5 year old son. So we will see. We will then plan to head to hollywood studios for our ADR 50's prime time at HS 2:05pm. Depending on timing we might just let this one slide. We will see if there is anything that catches our eye before this day and maybe we will try to get ADR there for a later time.

Day 6 (6/27):
This day we will go to Hollywood studios as this will be the first full day we will spend here. My son loves the playhouse disney show so we will watch that even though we saw it twice in disneyland. Hopefully its a little different. We will head back to the hotel for a break and then most likely head back to HS for the sci fi ADR since fantasmic happens this night.
Sci Fi Dine in at HS or
Capn Jack DTD

Day 6 (6/28):
This day we do not have anything really planned we will probably go to DTD do disney quest, maybe hit a waterpark. Again depending on what we ended up doing the night before but if it goes as planned we will do capn jacks. That would probably work out so we can do disney quest and shop as this is the last day here :(. if anyone has any ideas or suggestions on what to do this day let me know.

Day 7 (6/29):
We head back to Denver today our flight leaves at 10am so we will have to be up early.

Again im pretty open to any suggestions as this will be my first trip to WDW and hopefully not the last. I'm really excited about going. All the planning is pretty much up to me.

Welcome again to the boards, just have fun..if you can, do the fastpass as much as possible as it has been said in previous discussions. I kept one from a rideon Test Track due to is was a "Surprise Fastpass" for a entrance also to Mission Space! There will be so many things for you guys to do and see...just try to slow down...it was very hard for me!
