I feel like this land should be more akin to Yùn Chèng with bigger e-tickets as El Dorado is probably the most popular concept we have and the most recognizable name, so it’d make sense to have bigger E-tickets here,

We also don’t have any big stage shows yet, so I that’s one thing we should look into doing.

For dining, a Brazilian steakhouse with an Aztec theme would be pretty neat with some smaller qs that are Latin American street food?
I agree with having another E-ticket here, considering El Dorado is such a popular concept.

In terms of attractions, I'll admit the mention of the rivers caught my eye. Like, either a classic river rapids ride or a boat ride that could bring us into the mystical side of El Dorado. Of course, a roller coaster that embraces the "wind" part of Quetzalcoatl might not be bad either.

I'm also all for that Brazilian steakhouse as our table service restaurant, perhaps situated in that pyramid.

We could have an E-ticket raft ride, a family Quetzalcoatl coaster, and a stunt show. That seems like a good mix

I worry about a stunt show just because we have one in AA at the other park. However, I don’t have any other idea for what to do.

Maybe a scripted action show that tells a story and has some stunts but is more about the story than the stunts

That would help to differentiate. I believe the one in AA is more a showy and kinda goofy affair, while this could have more of a focus perhaps on the history and goals of El Dorado.

I can help you with it or dining so you don't have to do all of that!!
Awesome, yeah that’d be great.

Would one of you like to tackle shopping? It’s the only thing that we haven’t claimed and honestly, it’s legitimately the thing I’m the worst at. I like my material possessions as much as the next guy, but shopping is not my forte

I can do Land Description for your map so you can do dining and Dash can do shopping!

For the land description (I’ll write it out more before we submit but I want enough for you to make a map):

Guests continue around the lake to see a dense jungle area with just a few paths winding deep inside. Through these jungle paths, guests can see different animals along the way (if you’re doing two animals, do three paths with the left one empty. If you’re doing 3 animals, it doesn’t matter).

Once guests enter, they find a city of gold. To the left, a temple of gold can be found leading to the entrance of the river ride. Right beside it, guests can find a family coaster that weaves in and around the river. To get even better views of the river/ ride, the far left path bridges over it.

The far right of the land has a small El Doradean village set up as a facade to lead to the outdoor stunt show a la Indiana Jones or WaterWorld.

Dining and shopping areas can be found scattered around the land.

Thoughts on this? I think having a deep jungle leads to a really nice “reveal” on the other end

This’ll definitely help my map and I love the concept for the jungle exposing the village. I’ll be doing a trail more akin to the one in Yùn Chèng since there are so many South American animals, but I definitely can work them into this winding trail and have a bypass path that won’t go by the animals if you just want to pass the animals into the village.

Other than that though, the plan sounds good to me!

That is sounding good to me.

I'm working on the boat ride right now, which I was thinking as in the vein of Shanghai Pirates of the Caribbean. My initial thought for it is that it starts bringing us into the splendor of El Dorado. We witness the beauty of the City of Gold, only for this scenic cruise to change when a group of explorers make their presence known. They disturb the peace of El Dorado, and with that the ride shifts as we are caught in rampaging rapids.

How does that initial idea sound?

Like A rapids version of Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld?

Haha jk, this sounds like a solid plan. Could get a big Quetzalcoatl AA too which would be neat?
