Ok I'm brave enough for this hot take: The Osbourne Lights were the single most overrated piece of Disney World at Christmas. They were hideous during the day, overwhelmingly gaudy at night, and drew miserable crowds that made any semblance to the delightfulness of the display moot. Give me Lights of Winter or the Cinderella Castle Dreamlights any day over the Osbourne Lights.

I'll agree for the Streets of America Version (though I did still love em cuz I'm a sucker for Christmas lights).

But they were 1000 times better on Residential Street more spread out and more out of the way during the day.

I'm ticked off. Disney tampered with one of my favorite Disney rides in my home park and kind of ruined it...It makes me kind of mad that they got rid of all the scary aspects of the ride and replaced it with a somewhat cheap Dopey AA. I also hate that they included a cheap Snow White AA. Like I get they were trying to go for nostalgia and charm but that just looks bad..

Anyway, what do y'all think?

Could be worse, could have been replaced with a really well done princess meet and greet that eventually loses its purpose of theming due to Snow White and Aurora ending up homeless on Main Street as Elena and Tiana are thrown in....oh wait....

To be fair, Tiana has always been implied to have a place at PFT from her portrait being in the queue. Elena... is likely not long for this world since her show has ended.

I'd have to disagree. We live in the age of Disney+ now, where people can stream long-since-cancelled TV shows whenever they please, so if Elena is taken off reruns, there's still a streaming service to view her adventures on. Plus, given that Elena is Disney's first Latina princess and they specifically cast bilingual actresses to play her in the parks so that she can converse with guests in Spanish, I highly doubt Disney is going to get rid of her, meet-and-greet wise.
