Why why why why why why why why why why why are they/would they put GOATS on the safari. We don't need domestics on the safari, that's what the Affection Section is for. Plus, putting this here means the Scimitar-horned Oryx (a species extinct in the wild) will probably not be present on the safari anymore

Nothing has been confirmed by Disney just yet.

For example: The ride used to have a backstory with the TV preshow all over the ride with intergalactic transport, life on all sorts of planets, etc. They could throw a bit of that in, maybe include the intergalactic postal office thing that Fed-EX brought in, have the family of the future the WDW post show has. Stuff like that could be really cool to see in a movie form. Or really lame, we will see.

Honestly, I’d rather see Space Mountain as a Star Trek-esque TV show than a movie for this exact reason.

Friend of a friend maybe reliable-ish info, but I heard that a slight bit of a story is going to be brought back for a refresh they can market for the 50th. No real changes to the Safari other than some new narration and this one small, simple showscene (that may or may not have goats) as a finale.

Seriously. Maybe it isn't goats, but if it is, I'm going to be sorely disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I love goats, I managed a herd for my first four years at the zoo, but they are not safari finale animals, especially after all the cool animals we see beforehand.

Now, maybe they'll throw in an awesome surprise animal like an aardvark or dik-dik, but it's doubtful
