Were definitely still accepting anyone who wants to play. In case you missed it in the first teaser, the official start date is Saturday, September 19th. If we get an overflow of people, I believe we have some veterans in the cast who would be willing to step down, but we'll see what happens. My goal is for everyone who wants to play to have a chance to do so :)

We definitely tried to think of an EPCOT character to include, but since the running theme with the characters is that they're all obscure or in some cases like Bernice Progress or Mr. One Way, more or less fan creations. Throwing characters as well defined as Figment and Dreamfinder into the mix just didn't feel right when the whole fun of writing these characters is getting to flesh out their personalities. If you have an obscure EPCOT character you'd like to include, let me know. I can't guarantee they'll be a focal part of the story, but I'm certainly not an expert when it comes to old school Epcot and the characters that came with it.
As far as obscure characters go, you've got SMRT-1, UoE Dinosaur, WoM Sea Serpent, the Spaceship girl from SSE, and the three-headed troll from Maelstrom.
Just some ideas!

How about Earlie the Pearlie, otherwise known as the guy from the Astuter Computer Revue? Given that he was in the first EPCOT attraction to close forever, I think he'd blend in perfectly. And if needed, I could possibly do his voice. I'm quite adept at bad Cockney accents.

EDIT: If any of you guys are unfamiliar with him, you may recognize the song he sang (written by the Sherman Brothers, no less)...

What is your favorite long-lost attraction?
This might be too on-the-nose with the 1986 storyline, but it’s Adventures Thru Inner Space. I have vague childhood memories of riding it and loving it before Star Tours came in. The atomic concept is evergreen and universal, like pirates or ghosts, so there’s no reason this couldn’t return with upgraded visuals etc.

EDIT: Forgot about non-Disney stuff! Let’s add Kingdom of the Dinosaurs! Knott’s is so much less without it.

Does Great Movie ride count as long-lost yet? Or Snow White's Scary Adventures?

For something more "long" lost and less recent, Kong-frontation from Universal. It was an amazing ride with an incredible scale to it! Skull Island doesn't hold a candle to the original Kong ride.

Food Rocks 100%. It gets forgotten a ton and while Kitchen Kabaret had better AA's, I think Food Rocks was a lot more fun. I think the message behind Food Rocks was important too as I still catch myself singing/ humming "every bite you take" or "high fiber".
