1900 Park Fare or Cape May Clam Bake?

1900 has characters breakfast and dinner and top quality food. However, the price is pretty high for a buffet.

Cape May is not as expensive, but is still quite good. It only has characters during breakfast, and our waitress was quite rude.

I like Yacht Club Galley more for breakfast than Cape May, but 1900 is still good for breakfast and dinner.

1900 will give you a character meal and Cape May is more quiet. If you don't need the characters, I would go to Cape May Cafe. I am a fan of the food there, and afterward the Boardwalk is right there.

Out of the two, I've only been to 1900 Park Fare, but the buffet was one of the best on Disney property. They had so many choices and a great variety. They had (when I was last there) an omlet making station, where you can get your own personal made omlet. The breakfast pastries were amazing too!

Park Faire is characters and lots of hyper kids with an OK buffet.

Cape May felt more relaxed and the food was better at dinner.

Keep in mind, too, that your selection may be swayed by which resort you are staying at because each place can take a little time to get to if you are taking Disney transportation from your resort to get there. (IE. If I was staying at The Boardwalk, I'd walk over to Cape May - If I was staying at the Poly, I'd be more likely to hop over to Park Faire.)

To help you choose if you are looking for a Dinner.

1900 Park Fare features "Cinderella's Gala Feast" with Cinderella and her storybook friends. If you was unable to book a Princess Breakfast, here you can have a Princess Dinner. Due to this, the dinner books very fast, make your Priority Seating at least 70+ days in advance.

Not looking for characters? Cape May Cafe is an excellent seafood buffet. You can also order a side of Crab legs (about $10 for a bucket, plenty for a party of 4.) Cape May is also very popular but you can normally get the time of your choice on non-holidays, non-weekends if booked 3 or more days in advance.

Both locations do take Priority Seatings up to 90 days in advance.

Although I have read many wonderful things about 1900 Park Fare, I have never eaten there. In August of 2003, we took my wife's family (10 of us in all) ranging from 2yrs to 78yrs to Cape May Cafe. Everyone loved it and stated that they would visit again. Great variety and any escuse to get me by Disney's Boardwalk is good enough for me.
