Its a terrible test. It'll be hard to define if the issue (or success) is one specific character, all of them, the weird setting or the mashup

Then why wasn't Asha included?

Likely she was swapped out for Tiana (in her bayou outfit) as that character will be out a lot more with the ride opening soon, gives the cast members time to give the character a test run. Or maybe even Mirabelle as she has her own dedicated M&G, so the staffing is already there.

With the way they're handling things lately, I wouldn't be surprised if they throw a Mary Poppins luncheon there. Have some Tea and tacos with Mary.

From 1971 until around 2005-ish

…the Quality of the the food…the immaculate upkeep of the hotels - for the price - was just unbelievable

That’s what created the “pool of money” in Orlando…which they seem dead set on draining

LOL, the only thing that would make this better is if when they introduce the menu is centered around German cuisine. What an absolute mish mash of nonsense this is.

Fortunately, food quality has seemed to trend upward at quick service locations with the likes of Docking Bay 7, Satu’li Canteen, Regal Eagle BBQ and others. Table service is very location dependent, some have never been better, some have always been the way they are, and others have gone downhill. There’s certainly not a lack of fantastic restaurants, however.

Honestly it should be high. Where else are you going to get to go to a Victorian style hotel to see a character from the Louisiana Bayou in her bayou costume she will wear in Frontierland?

We've done 1900 Park Fare in years past for both breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed both. But I absolutely loved the breakfast, both in terms of the unique mix of characters and the food offerings. Sad to see that Mary Poppins, the Mad Hatter, etc. are going away. We'd give it a try again, but I'm disappointed that the breakfast is changing.

These characters have very little in common (except for Tiana and Cinderella being princesses, though Tiana will not be dressing in her princess attire) and I fail to see how they can come up with a menu that makes sense that will coincide with these characters. That menu is gonna be all over the place and I doubt will be tied to the hotel at all. I got married at Disney years ago and I remember them being so strict on what characters could be seen with other characters because they didn’t want to compromise the magic of the guest experience. I guess they couldn’t care less of that now. So sad about this change

I just assume the theme is "Characters with Anxiety/Imposter Syndrome." Three people who aren't royalty but married into it, and one with family issues.
