180 Days

We are going next April from April 16-April 23. They say we can't make our dining reservations until 180 days out. So my question is this. 180 days from April 16 would be October 18. But that is 180 days until the first day of our trip. So does that mean that on Oct 18, I can only make reservations for April 16, since April 17 is 181 days away? Do I have to call Oct 19 to make my reservations for April 17, and Oct 20 to make my resevations for April 18, etc? Or is it just 180 days before the first day of your stay? Or does "180 days" simply mean "6 months" in which case perhaps I could begin making reservations Oct 1?

I called 180 days in advance for my most recent trip in June - I called 180 days from my first day and the CM allowed me to make all my reservations as long as I provided the confirmation # for my trip (booked through Disney directly). I'm not sure if this will still work. Good luck!

Thanks. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what they let me do. It would be easier to plan my tentative reservations, though, if extra magic hours for April were available now, instead of having to wait until October as well. :(

Are you staying on property? It's 190 days for on property guests. I was speaking with an reservation CM a few weeks ago and she said for my April 27th-May 6th trip I could make ADR's on October 19th.

If you're off-site, it's 180 days before the date you want to reserve. If you're there for 10 days and want to be first in line, you'd have to phone each day for ten days.

If you're on-site, it's 180 days before your arrival date, but you can book up to ten days' ADRs, so your last day of a ten-day stay would be being reserved 190 days in advance.

If you're only staying 7 days, you would be able to book all your ADRs 180 days before your first day, so you'd be booking your last ADR 187 days in advance.

Confused yet? :veryconfu
