This will be our first trip in 4 years, I'm super excited for our trip- this will be our almost three year old's first time. While I'm getting more excited by the minute, the stress of making sure I haven't forgotten anything is getting to me. I'm always writing done great tips from this site to make our trip better. How does everyone out there do their organizing?

I'm right there with you. We leave Thursday! Each day we count down I get a little more excited and a little more nervous. I've been planning and preparing for this trip for a year now and it's very important to me that everything goes well.

Good luck!

I totally get this feeling! Totally! I got so stressed out before our last trip, I got sick. Really sick. Thankfully better before we left. I was so stressed!!! Hang in there. Everything will be fine. And if everything doesn't go perfectly, its not a mistake - but a happy accident!!! And if you forget anything - it can be for the next trip!! :)

18 days for us too! I will start packing Saturday. For me - I am packing light as possible. Cool weather is true at that time of year but since we are coming in from MA - it will be warm....This year - instead of "worrying" I bought yoga pants! They will be comfty and light to pack! 5 full days and 5 full nights! Can't wait!

We took DD for the first time when she was three. Other than deep cleansing breaths and the fact that you are not going to the moon so whatever you forget can be purchased there (albeit at higher prices) I would offer one piece of advice. Be ready to head back to the resort at any time at a moments notice! It was a hard pill to swallow that when she hit the wall regardless of where it was and how deep we were in the parks that it was time to head back to the hotel and reset. Every kid is different of course but with DD it was just stimulus overload. She did not need a nap but rather a calm break at the pool just to give her brain a chance to reset. It took a little while for us to realize that any plans we had in terms of rides per day or schedule were out the window...once we did it was smooth sailing but it is the one piece of advice I give to people with kids that age.

Have a great trip making those memories!
