Oh My... I cant imagine not being able to go to Disney for 10 years however I think that I would just deal with it by watching videos and doing the stuff that I normally do while waiting for my next trip! :soconfused:

I'm confused as to what this has to do with going to Disney.

Does Disney do background checks on guests who enter the parks now?

Thank you voices of reason. And thank you all for your support and respect. Most people won’t even touch this subject with a 10 foot pole. I have a tuff road ahead, but I will get through it one way or another. It’s just all my life I had a dream of working for Disney. And now those dreams are lost.

You're not alone... Only six more years until I return :hammer: but when I do there will be so many new things it'll all be worth it! :) Cheer up and enjoy life because you have no other option! :animwink:

If you offender status has to do with being around children for the whole term, then a lot of things you take for granted unfortunately will need to be given up. Not only theme/amusment parks but forums like this will need to be avoided as well.

If it doesn't apply and you just have to be registered, then after your probation, you should have no problems visiting where you want, including Europe if you so choose to do Euro Disney.

What stinks is that you got busted with that stuff, especially since with Kazaa, you had no idea what was actually there based on file descriptions.

Tell me about it...

Just the other day I downloaded a song (I do own the album...just didn't feel like burning it to mp3)...

Tim McGraw - Don't Take the Girl

Let me just say...It wasn't Tim that was taking the girl!

10 years probation could not allow him to leave his state or he could be living in Florida and this would be on his record applying for a job or as his status as a s_x offender.

Well, I've already experienced this, in a way. Due to limitations of finances and family availability, I was unable to visit WDW from 1990 to 2002 (I had gone every couple of years before then).

Let's see, during that time, I went through puberty, got my driver's license, graduated from high school and college, got a job, and got married. Believe me, it was hell hearing about friends and family going down to Orlando every year during that time.

I hope to never let more than 2 or 3 years pass between trips again!

Edit: I just read about your situation Lost Disney, and I feel bad for you. However, I have to wonder how much of this illegal content you had for you to be busted so severely!

How would you take it if you were restricted by law, that you can’t step foot on Disney property for the next 10 years.

Please be serious, because I am<O:p

I'd feel like mkt does

I moved to Orlando because of Disney, so I'll be damned if I can't go.

Indeed! Though, financially, he may be better off starting with a good waxing first. :)

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIP!!

I think...in Grizz's case...that would be a little TOO painful...

Maybe we could call in the CDA and they could shave him like George Sanderson from Monsters, Inc.

Wow, that's a tough one. Right now being away from WDW for more than 6 months is maddening. I could not image waiting 10 years, especially at my age. Thank goodness I will be at WDW in 53 days!!!

Well, Ilovedisney and everyone else, my last time on Disney was on July 1994... Yes, 10 years without Disney World! And I won't be going until 2006, If I get lucky. As you can imagine, I have a LOT of patience, but I really miss it. This site and another few are my way of helping myself not to break.
