FINAL CHALLENGE
BRAND-NEW LAND

enhance

Main Street. Tomorrowland. Fantasyland. Frontierland. Adventureland. With only minor variations, these are the lands you’d expect to find in any Disney Castle Park.

Other lands appear on occasion, with less frequency. New Orleans / Liberty Square. Critter Country. Mickey’s Toontown. Toy Story Land. Mystic Point. Treasure Cove. Galaxy’s Edge. Et cetera.

Your final task is to propose a brand-new land which would fit in perfectly in any Disney Castle Park.

-Rules-
Use only a single sentence to describe your idea. You may also use one image if you wish. The deadline is Thursday, August 27th, at midnight EST.

-Tips-

KISS – Keep is simple, silly! With only one sentence, you can’t get too detailed. Think of this as an elevator pitch.

-Judging Criteria-
Is it creative?
Is it realistic?
Does it fit visually/thematically?

Any questions, please ask! Now good luck everyone! Create!

To help this Finale feel even more Grand, there's gonna be THREE BONUSES!

Bonus One: Use One (1) single sentence (and no pictures) to give your land an E-Ticket attraction!

Bonus Two: Use One (1) single sentence (and no pictures) to give your land a C-Ticket attraction!

Bonus Three: Use One (1) single sentence (and no pictures) to give your land an A-Ticket attraction!

Whether you do 1 bonus, 2, or all three or none at all will have absolutely NO effect on the main prompt's winners or the medals. BUT the best bonus will get 1 Bonus Point!

Each of the three bonuses will be judged separately meaning there's going to be 3 Bonus Points given out this round!
Anyone can still win the whole game!

Just saw the results; pleasantly surprised to see I actually placed a couple times. 🥰 There's one thing I'd like to clarify:
The Knights of Make-Believe
@b-wolf95

This street performances sounds sort of like the knightly equivalent of those impromptu Jedi stunt battles they had planned for Galaxy’s Edge, and while I love the bold creativity on display I fear that in reality the poor implementation of the Galaxy’s Edge shows makes Knights of Make-Believe just as difficult.
Stunt battles were not my intention with the Knights of Make-Believe. It was supposed to be more of a storytelling/"let's embarrass the guests" kind of show, where the Knights tell of their (blatantly made-up) exploits while dragging in members of audience to help tell the story. Sorry if I didn't convey that well.

Other than that, though, I happy with how this round turned out. I wish all of us good luck on the next round!

Remind me, what counts as an A-list attraction? Is that streetmosphere/entertainment?
Yeah, I'd like to know what exactly constitutes an "A-Ticket" attraction, as well. I know that "E-Ticket" generally means a high-end attraction and "C-ticket" can be like a more classic dark ride or spinner attraction, but what exactly would make an "A-Ticket" attraction, then?

Music Land

Walk among the instrumentally-inspired architecture of Music Land, and you’ll find yourself stepping in tune with a merry world that shows off the power of music!

E-Ticket Attraction: Fantasia - The Flow of Music
When a bit of Mickey Mouse’s magic goes awry and floods the concert hall, guests will board their “boat seats” for a flume ride adventure as the flow of music takes them through iconic scenes from the Fantasia films, such as the manic ballet of Dance of the Hours and Chernabog’s fearsome presence from Night on Bald Mountain.

C-Ticket Attraction: Royal Doulton Music Hall
Bucks and mares, cubs and does, welcome to our show of shows, as Mary Poppins leads the colorful troupe at this music hall in a live show and sing-along that’s sure to make any guest’s jolly holiday!

A-Ticket Attraction: Ludwig Von Drake's Symphonic Symposium
Ludwig Von Drake is ready to teach you a thing or two about the history of music with his walkthrough museum that is filled with interactive exhibits, such as the Toot, Whistle, Plunk, and Boom Revue which teaches about the sections of an orchestra through playful (and playable) displays, or the Genre Generator which lets guests take a simple tune and run it through different musical styles.

I've been doing a little looking into it, and I'm getting the vibes that "A-Ticket" attractions could be things like walkthroughs, playgrounds, and low-population transport. Basically, stuff to check out when you're stepping away from regular rides for a bit.
Yeah, that's pretty accurate. I'm not gonna be super picky. And the lines between Ticket classes are fuzzy and debatable anyways

A-Tickets are small stuff. Walkthroughs. Fancy Meet & Greets. Streetmosphere. Playground. Interactive displays

C-Tickets are stuff like simple dark rides. Loosely themed family coasters (like Goofy Sky School). Flat Rides. Most shows.

E-Tickets are big things. Usually big thrills, big immersive theming, or both. The headliners. Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, Spaceship Earth, etc.

Tickets are more just guidelines for scales of things. Small scale, medium scale, and big scale.

New to Disneyland Paris, standing where Indiana Jones once stood (and the expansion pad beyond) is a beautiful Japanese village hidden in the forest, which is currently celebrating the anniversary of when the Sun Goddess Amaterasu emerged from her cave.

Bonus A: Shrine of the Sun
The main hub of the festivities, guest can pop by to mingle with the locals, listen to Japanese folklore from the village's storyteller, or maybe even catch a Taiko drum performance.

Bonus C: Yokai of the Shadows
Deep in the woods. a dark cave that sunlight doesn't enter hides a secret - a well-themed Wild Mouse coaster that gives guests a close encounter with some of Japan's stranger fauna.

Bonus E: Dance of the Kami
The Gods and Goddesses of Japanese lore of descended onto an old theatre to give a performance like no other; using trackless technology, guests are brought into the action, gracefully dancing though stylized versions of the tales of the Gods, ending with Ame-no-Uzume leading everyone in a festive dance outside of Amaterasu's cave and Amaterasu herself making her grand appearance.

Alright, let me see what I can do...

The Top of the World
1598491899688.png
A fitting counterpoint to the warmer climates of Adventureland (a jungle) and Frontierland (a desert), this new addition to the Magic Kingdom transports parkgoers all the way to the Arctic Circle, where snow and ice abound, the weather chills, and all water is frozen over - fortunately, the dining locations around the land all serve piping hot food, the shops all sell warm clothes, and there are plenty of roaring fireplaces to keep you from getting too cold.

E-TICKET ATTRACTION: Thrill-seekers will love the land's headliner attraction, Ice Cavern Chutes, a roller coaster through the tundra's glowing ice caverns aboard a skidding, sliding bobsled.

C-TICKET ATTRACTION: An animatronic show in the style of Country Bear Jamboree and the Enchanted Tiki Room, the Arctic Circle Circus boasts a cast of cuddly polar bears, joke-telling reindeer, acrobatic penguins (all the way from Antarctica!), fencing narwhals, seals, arctic foxes, musk oxen, wolverines, walruses, beluga whales, and the host of the show, a goofy abominable snowman named Yancy E. Ti.

A-TICKET ATTRACTION: Little ones can enjoy themselves on a small playground made from an abandoned researchers' camp and large icebergs.
