I work for a General Motors dealership. I know that GM has a Disney Training Program throughout the year. When you are there, you get to go through and ride the Test Track ride privately. It has been sponsored by GM and is now sponsored by Chevrolet. This may be what is going on, but that is just a guess.

We have two meetings per year in Orlando. They once "rented" Animal Kingdom" for us. From 5pm to 9pm one night. And the next year the same thing at Sea World, then Universal Studios the next year. Loved being there with no crowds but kinda sucked not having my kids along....

Im here for an event for IBM. We just did a special event at Hollywood Studios. They closed the park for us at 7:00. We had the park to ourselves till 10:30. Only 4 rides were open and they did fireworks. I've been coming to this event for 14 years. Most times they book Universal or IOA, but we have had special events at MK, AK and HS. We have never had an event at Epcot. I however have created/managed special events for customers using the IBM exhibit in Innoventions. As IBM employees we can use that area pretty easily and then bring customers into the park

challenger disaster?

Yes. I was 5 years old and in WDW that day. We had no idea until my parents noticed many upset guests and asked what was going on. I can't say I knew what was happening at the time, but it is definitely something I will never forget.

Nor will I. I remember that long day waiting to know for sure they all died and hoping and praying they were alive. The worst part was much later when they knew that the astronauts were probably still alive in the capsule for a while. Such a sad event.

I was in 6th grade, watching it in the gym at a Christian day school. The whole school was watching it. From k-8th grade. I remember seeing it and hearing my school Principal say "Oh NO!" and another teacher reaching for the plug to unplug the TVs. I will never forget
