1,000,000 Point Question

This poll is my 1,000,000 point question from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Play It! I got it wrong. The new prize is a four day cruise for four on the Disney Magic. I'll post the correct answer in a day or two. Remember, no asking for help or looking it up.

I'll jump in here and say I have absolutely no idea what the correct answer is - I'm a great at home "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" player ... but I doubt I'd do well in front of a crowd. I tend to freak out when put on the spot.

But congrats on getting that far - what did you get for doing that well? We never made it over there last week, but I've heard you get some neat prizes ... true?

I missed the million point question last year. It sure stings to choke in front of 500 or so people!
Anyway, I got all the pins up to 32,000 points, a hat, and a polo shirt. Nice stuff, but no trip to NYC!

For free and in a few months when (hopefully) everything has run its course on ship, sure. Today, well, it wouldn't sound as good, but free is free. I'd probably take my chances and go.

I got the million point question wrong when I was in the hot seat, too. I don't remember what it was anymore...something about which comedy writer got his start on some show, or which comedy writer never worked on that show. I went ahead and guessed....I didn't really care that I was risking 4 pins. I gave my dad the polo shirt because I didn't like it, but I still have the pins (up to 32000) & hat & lanyard. I didn't really want the trip to New York (only two days, and you don't really have time to do anything but attend the taping) but I did want the million point jacket. Now that the trip is a cruise, though, I think I'd be a little more disappointed if I got that far and missed again.

I was in the audience when you were in the Hot Seat, so I won't give away the answer. You did very well. In fact, a lot better than I did in the Hot Seat back in 9/01. I missed the 64,000 point question. What do I know about birthstones? Actually, I thought you were going to answer correctly when they asked you a question from your home state.

Even worse, I went to dental school in Philadelphia. Although, it's not like we ever did any sightseeing. The last time I saw the Liberty Bell I was in high school.

Yea, thats what happened to me when i got in the hot seat. I was too nervous and couldn't think straight.
