09 Hours SLASHED!

YOu might find that hours are extended if business is picking up.

When we went in October there were at least 5 nights where the park we were had a later closing time than the one advertised on the web and indeed in the Park Times insert.

It was usually only an hour, but one night MK was showing as 7pm, but when we arrived that morning it had been extended to 9pm.

If I knew, I'd be glad to share it.

All I know is they had hours up through July (possibly August) until sometime in either late October or early November when they pulled them all ...

My guess is they don't know themselves how much they're going to have to cut (or if things miraculously improve ... cut at all).

They just likely had hours that were very similar to last summer ( I know I did a quick look and nothing jumped out at me as being cut or changed significantly) and didn't want to have MK closings at 11 p.m. and midnight if they were going to go back to the 9 and 10 p.m. closing of earlier this decade ... or worse.

So now it's all a wait and see deal.

You got my hopes up. I thought the hours had been posted somewhere. Oh well. :)

I thought that, too, but I couldn't resist asking.
I'm in the same boat as you--I am eagerly (but patiently) awaiting June hours. I understand that it's hard for Disney to predict this far in advance, though. I would hope to see hours posted by the time we can book ADRs though.

I remember after 9-11 the MK and Studios used to close at 7pm, and they neither would do Fantasmic or Fantasy in the Sky. And there where no such things as EMH and they would not do e-ride nights in Feb. either. So things aren't that bad yet...

I agree that it isn't that unusual at all. All of this will last a year...two tops.
