Guest: What's new about this?
CM: Um....Uh....Nick...Has eyelids now....?

I like his design better here, without the eyelids. It was a good idea but the execution isn't great. I don't know, something's weird about it. Maybe where the pupil falls under the eyelid or his actual eyeline being off? The original was better.

BAB = shortened version of ITTBAB, as in a shortened version of the show for the limited attention spans of the modern audience

OON = an abbreviation for a phrase that those of you who paid attention in Latin class will remember roughly translates to "is returning to Disney's Animal Kingdom in 2026"
I know you’re joking but the new show is 9 minutes. Wasn’t the old show…9 minutes?

Moving this to the correct thread:
I don't see how that restricts having a show about real animals? Real bugs don't have talent shows either.

You can have made almost the same show where various animals "came onstage" to show their unique talents. Could have featured things like a cheetahs speed, platypus... being a platypus, echolocation, hibernation, super hearing, gliding, armored skin, etc etc. The list goes on
Can't say that will be exactly that but...
Disney has announced Zootopia: Better Zoogether! opens November 7, 2025.

Hear from the creatives at Walt Disney Imagineering:

You know, the idea of Zootopia
0:32
came about because the filmmakers
0:34
actually did a lot of work researching
0:35
animal characteristics at Disney's
0:37
Animal Kingdom.

We really wanted to tell
0:39
a story that celebrated what we all know
0:41
Animal Kingdom now represents, which is
0:42
that people, animals, and nature are all
0:45
connected in this fundamental way.

And
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! is a reminder that the natural world is profoundly interconnected, and we are no exception.
We are called to take actions and make choices that benefit our worlds – from Savanna Central and Tundratown to the far-flung corners of our beautiful planet.
So, get ready to slither, crawl, stampede and swim to Walt Disney World this November … all Zoogether!

I’m guessing you’ve never seen the movie because there is a whole scene that takes place in a nudist sanctuary, the joke being that we see animals naked all the time. But the movie is not straight up animals for humans. The world and history that was created goes out of its way to explain these animals have evolved from their primitive forms, and the rural and city areas are all created to accommodate the different animals, not humans.
Attitude is important. If people fixate on the "anthro" part, they will not see the animal part.

It’s a process.

Correct more or less that. We are saying the same thing.

I will unregard this and move along.

Correct, I’m not trying to go against it. I’m just saying what it is and will happen

It won’t have cars obviously but think concept only.
Hey just checking if you’re still 100% certain that It’s Tough to be a Bug is still coming back.

It’s been awhile since you’ve guaranteed that it was definitely going to happen.
