“Something major” coming to DHS???

Bringing back the Muppets a few pages back, I feel that attraction is in desperate need of a refresh or an out rite rip and replace. My last time to experience it, I focused more on the audience than the show. People were unenthusiastic. Not much laughing or anything. Just sitting there watching the show.

Admittedly I've never been a Muppets fan, but I at least somewhat enjoyed the show in earlier years. Now, I just use it as a cool place to sit for a bit. Of course I would rather have added attractions at HS right now but when it comes time for a redo, Muppets would be pretty high on my list.

I also just get the feeling it's a dying IP.
As a massive Muppets fan, nothing would make me happier than an update. The Theatre is wonderful, but the show is so dated.

Although the IP has lost popularity, there is always some sort of reboot or new project that pops out every few years. I have faith they could do something right with the IP - but i'm sure they don't really want to.

See, as a massive Muppets fan, I don't want the show to change AT ALL! I think it works fine the way it is, especially considering it was Jim Henson's final performance as Kermit. It's really rather timeless in the same way most good Muppet content is.

Eh.. it feels like the Michael Jackson experience at this point. Dull, outdated (not retro chic), and hokey. Figment falls into this camp, mission space is about there (this just needs updated as space travel is very much still active and interesting, and serves as the last bastion of edutainment (barely) in Epcot) besides LWTL. MK needs to ditch the speedway for ANYTHING, make Buzz like the DL version, redo space mountains trash track, add DL effects to BTM, and also build new...

Exactly. There are parts that are dated but not much. They already updated the theater Waldos to projection mapping last year.

The show still scores well with guests. I wouldn’t expect to see it touched in the near term.
It's a cheap people eater in a park that desperately needs more to do. If there were more attractions, Muppets would send up like its DCA counterpart

What are you talking about?! It has the one, the only…Mr. Mickey Mouse!

Your comments are distinctly unpatriotic and you should just stay away from their modern, high-tech facility.

Exactly. Granted, if they can’t find a way to get the Muppets to connect to people in a relevant way, the brand will die. But not this year. I’ve found some of their recent efforts to be charming while others were garbage.
Muppet's Mayhem was excellent if anyone hasn't seen it. Definitely worth checking out.

Earth to Ned (sadly removed from D+) was also outstanding. Not technically Muppets, but in the same vein

See, now I hope they reimagine Captain EO as Captain TS….
