If you read this report in it’s entirety thank you. I get so much joy living vicariously through other people’s reports. I hope someone out there had the same entertainment with mine.
To wrap it all up in a pretty bow.
Who: This trip goes down as my favorite so far. The Magic was still there for Handsome. He truly felt as though he was meeting Darth and flying the Falcon. I know he won’t remember this but I always will. My sweet girls are getting older. Their princess days are behind them, sigh. However I got to see little glimpses of those babies on this trip and it made my heart soar. This new chapter with them is fun. Hearing their giggles as they did their first upside down roller coaster or their nervous excited banter waiting in line for Guardians. The time with them is the best part of a Disney trip. My amazing in laws. I know this one was tough for my mother in law. They have always been our Disney travel companions. I hope this continues even if it means a slower pace or more pool time. Again the best part about these trips is the time together. My sweet Hubs. He listens to me plan and replan trips 1000 times before the trip. Just when I think he’s not listening he does something like buy me my coveted Ariel ears.
Where: We choose Disneyland over WDW because we wanted the ease of going back to the resort by walking . Monorails and buses are great but nothing beats my feet. It was so easy to go stroller free. Plus those California beaches cannot be beat! Disneyland Hotel was retro and felt like a deluxe resort. If I had to compare to a WDW resort I would say the contemporary.
When: October was perfect! Beautiful weather and low crowds. All we needed was a sweatshirt in the early morning or evening.
Why: It’s our tradition when our kids turn 4 they get a Disney trip. To me this is the perfect age. It’s magic and they are tall enough for most rides. We have now had our kids at the following ages 6 months, 18 month s (twins), 2 years through 9 years old. EVERY age has had its pros and cons. Losing the diaper bag at Disney for the first time was AMAZING. I can’t wait to lose the stroller next trip ( I promise I won’t let this stroller thing go on too long)
That’s it for us. No Disney in 2020

. We are doing a 2 day Universal trip in November for Jets 10th birthday. It will just be her, the hubs and I. Not sure if I should trip report this one since it’s Universal (let me know if you would like to hear about it).
2021 is my 40th year on this planet so I am thinking of either Disney or Italy. I can’t decide!!! It’s Spring break yuck. Not sure I can brave the crowds.
If you made it to then end thank you for following!!!
