    Group Imagineering Project!

Newbie...well an old member I am sorry I haven't got back to posting in these forums for liek over a year. I can't even remember my previous screen name so I had to make a new one. I have designed theme parks and rides since I was 12 after coming back from Disneyland (I still have all of my...

    Best Time For Rides

Spaceship Earth first thing in the morning and last thing at night. BTMR is a daytime attraction. TestTrack is best at night. Other than that, the ferryboat is very cool as a nightime ride back to the TTC.

    Transportation from Off-Site Hotel

I stay there too and have had no complaints about the bus service from the Downtown Disney Hotels. In 2000, I stayed off property and had a horrible time with the bus schedule and even the driver. I recomend official Disney Transportation any day over the others.

Does terror threat level affect WDW??

I was at WDW 4 days after 9/11 and the security was high but you didn't really notice it except at the from gates. Disney went on alert as well but they also didn't want to interfere with the guest experience. I have a video from that week and they was vertually no one in the parks. Also the...

What do you want to see in an HM and PotC update if it were to happen?

Uh no. The PotC movie was nothing really like the attraction like the Haunted Mansion movie was. I think putting the new movie characters into the attraction would ruin everything. After all would you like to see Eddie Murhpy flying around Madam Leota's room on a chair? No. If anything...

    Wake up and smell the.....cookies?

Yep it's true! They also do this with the popcorn vendors and the BBQ smell in AK as well. It is the same system that they use for the Burning of Rome smell in SE, Oranges in Horizons, Fire and Jasmine in KRR, Skunk in JIYI, and other places. It was called the Smellitzer. You can see a photo...

    Horizions Corporate Lounge

The mouse controls everything! HAHAHA!!!! :drevil: Oh wait! Maybe it's the evil Michael Eisner instead! :fork:

    Spaceship Earth: Hard to believe!

I rode SE several times the first year it was open and don't remember this at all. I could be wrong though. But you would think that the technology already existed for this type of movement already in other dark ride attractions at WDW, Haunted Mansion and Take Flight comes to mind. Wonder why...

    Spaceship Earth Water System

That's where I heard it from too!

    Monsters Inc. Secrets

Did you also notice something else earlier in the film? When Sully and Mike are walking to work the pass a store. Inside the store on the walls are old Disneyland attraction posters! It's true! :D

Space gives its nod to Horizons

I, for one, was deeply sadenned when Horizons was torn down. I understand that the main reason was due to the structure of the building falling apart. I have not ridden M:S yet but I would hope that there would be something more about the old Horozons than just the Logo. There are many of us...

    Attraction with the most AAs

TLS needs to be either updated or removed or have a major overhaul. Nemo or not, the entire pavillion gives guests a very dreary feeling. I can only deal with so much aqua blue coloring as it is, let alone the entire attration. I usually skip this pavillion when I go, but when I do visit TLS, I...

    Coaster Designs

Take a look at this Vekoma designed coaster and tell me what you think. Looks exactly the same to me but only outside. http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery769.htm?Picture=8

    Space Mountain

The big drop in the middle of the ride seems to be more intense on the left side. Also the left just always seemed to go faster for some reason to me.

    Location of Rock n RollerCoaster

Hmm. That's interesting. I always thought that the RnR was placed on Sunset Blvd. because it takes place in "Hollywood" and "LA" just like all of the other things on that street..... like the "Hollywood Hotel" Tot. :hammer: Not too hard to figure out there and I'm not even an Imagineer...

    Morocco

I remember going to "EPCOT Center" when I was a kid in 1982 when it first opened and there wasn't a Morocco pavillion. Or Norway, Horrizons, Wonders of Life and The Living Seas for that matter! :) I remember them promoting the upcoming Living Seas and an African pavillion though. I have an old...

    Haunted Mansion

Sorry about all the posts but I just got a new screen name on here after 2 years of being gone from the site. I used to post all the time and HM is my all time favorite attraction so I know the most about it and it's history. The backward-downhill section is because you are coming out of...

    Haunted Mansion

The Knight was a possition held by HM cast members in the original HM at Disneyland. It was discontinued for many reason, mainly because of budget, but also the cast member playing the role would be hit with objects from the guests. The CM playing the night had a remote control to stop the ride...

    Pointing is not allowed

ABC and TDS. Also planning on moving to Florida soon to work for Disney there. I'd love to meet you and discuss WDW in more detail. I can talk for hours about it and usually do! :D

    Haunted Mansion

By the way, I loved the Haunted Mansion movie. Saw it 7 times already. They added in all of the wonderful details of the original attraction, right down to the wallpaper and door handles. And if you stay after the credits (which you should always do in a Disney movie) you will see a special...
