ever been asked if you're tired of going to WDW every year?

My tongue in cheek response is usually - "well there are over 150 restaurants onsite, and I haven't been to even 1/2 of them...so I HAVE to keep going back!" That usually keeps them quiet....

    Little Mermaid to receive Updates?

Any improvement to this ride would be a welcome one. It is soooo disappointing and not worth waiting in any length of line. Time is better spent in waiting/enjoying other rides/attractions.

Finally made it onto Under the Sea...not impressed

In fact, neither one specifically, just US in general. Disney is slowly losing market share. WDW has to do something to keep what they have and attract new "Disney fanatics" in the future.

Purpose of the DVC slider for the Magic Bands?

J'accord! I agree. It's the same reason we purchase and wear DVC Branded shirts, coats, hats...we have the bragging rights and we are "living" advertising for DVC!!! I'm looking forward to obtaining my sliders (DVC and AP) upon our arrival in Oct. They will not mail them to Canada!

Finally made it onto Under the Sea...not impressed

I agree this is the MOST disappointing ride and biggest let down in MK. Ya think the imagineers could have done better in the 21st century. THIS is supposed to compete with Universal? Come on Disney. Step up your game!

    Renting a dvc

Have you thought about the THV at SSR? We love them. Quiet. Lots of space. Great low attendance pools. Water transport if desired. Really a nice vacation depending your party size.

    staying at akv. suggestions?

For honeymooners, it might be good for you to stay at the quieter Kidani. Jambo is a pretty busy place! Enjoy... Until we are home and ready to board The Magic

    Resort Choices during the Holidays

You would do well to check out SSR, as you can easily access DTD by boat and be immersed in Christmas there! until we're home at OKW

Help with availability/renting Animal Kingdom Villas Studio Value

In our experience, the AKV are the easiest to find availability AND to rent points for (we've helped friends rent points so they can stay with us at AKV). I think that it's your dates are just "full" -- don't balk at the Savannah view and I don't see a BIG difference in points. Trust Dave's...

Have you ever rented DVC points?

I'm not sure either about mentioning other sites, but I can tell you that Dave's has been EXTREMELY helpful to us in having non-DVC families joining us on our trips. AND at a VERY reasonable cost. Don't hesitate to contact them.

What is your favorite place to stay....

Ok, if you're talking FAVOURITE (note Cdn. spelling... :-) ) place, it would be the space and quiet afforded by the Treehouses at SSR. We've done it twice, both times with a group of 7 people inlc. 2 kids. The space, the quiet and the proximity to DTD by boat is great. The pool was virtually...

Saratoga Springs vs Old Key West - Advice & Opinions Wanted!

We own at SSR, and love its amenities, especially the pools (the food options aren't bad, just limited). BUT we are going with OKW for a Cdn. Thanksgiving trip due to OKW 1 Bedroom sleeping 5. SSR is a VERY nice, quiet resort. Lots of pool activities for the kids and my Mom (73 years old)...
