We've stayed at six of the resort villas and like the Wilderness Lodge the best. Because it is close to our favorite park, the Magic Kingdom, and you can take the boat or bus to get there. The bus is much emptier than the boat, and the walk to the villas is not that far from the bus stop. We always stay in a two-bedroom villas wherever we go, which has plenty of space us. We stayed at the Grand Floridian this past December which was nice, but you are the last stop on the monorail to get to the Magic Kingdom, so space can be hard to come by and is a moderate walk to the villas. They also have a boat, but be warned it is a long walk from the boat docks to the villas at the end of the day. Animal Kingdom-Kidani Village is peaceful, but the bus ride is long to anywhere except Animal Kingdom. Saratoga Springs and Old Key West are both fine places, but the bus ride can be long once you enter the resort, since they stop every so often at the different bus stops. Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge both only have one bus stop. If you find yourself going out to Disneyland, then I would recommend the Grand Californian. Located in between Disneyland and California Adventure, it has a short walk to either place or to their Downtown Disney shopping area.
