    Is Dinosaur more neon-y?

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. I don't recall it being that way. Also, as I said, I could've sworn you only got a few brief views of the big guy at the end right before coming back to the present...now you see him pretty much the whole time.

    Is Dinosaur more neon-y?

Up until a few days ago, I hadn't ridden Dinosaur in probably 11 years. Long story, had kids, didn't think they'd like it, maybe too intense for them, but now that they're about to turn 10, we tried it and they loved it. But maybe it's my memory, or maybe it's changed. I seem to think that...

First Trip out West. Help/Tips appreciated

Totally agree on the maxpass system. Visited there for the first time since 2005 last week, and the max pass is very much like the old fastpass system, but better because you can do it all on your phone and don't have to actually walk to a ride to get one. It was really cool, when you're...

Disneyland Max Pass is really nice, I wonder if it would work in Florida.

I will concede that Disneyland not the well oiled machine that Disneyworld is. And it was a bit cumbersome to have to get out park tickets every time we went to redeem a fastpass slot. But we got used to it. But for sure it's way better to just use your magic band. And with the photopass, it...

Disneyland Max Pass is really nice, I wonder if it would work in Florida.

Just spent a few days in Disneyland and used the MaxPass. I thought it was really good, it's basically back to the old style fastpass system, but with your phone. Can only get fastpasses once your in the park, no doing it 60 days prior. It costs $10 per person, but it includes photopass as...

I don't understand what that means.

    Really Bothered at Star Tours

Everything? Do you know the meaning of the word "everything"? I believe I complained about one employee who in my opinion, inappropriately broke his character, then was a bit obnoxious. I was there for 6 nights two weeks ago, mostly park opening to near closing each full day (5 full days)...

    Really Bothered at Star Tours

Yeah, it has. I was going to reply with "get off my lawn!!!" or "kids these days!!!" or "back in MY day"

Yes, exactly, that kind of thing.

Has anyone anywhere on this thread said anything about being fired? "Let's do everything we can to get him fired...", where are you getting that from? Talk about mind blowing.

    Really Bothered at Star Tours

I think I didn't make what I was saying clear. When I said "it isn't supposed to be there" I meant the ride isn't supposed to be at Disney, it's supposed to be located at the little town near the dinosaur institute. It should have said, "Although it WOULDN'T be appropriate to reference being...

    Really Bothered at Star Tours

I totally agree that it's the very definition of a first world problem. BUT, disney holds themselves to high standards on detail, and this was a detail that was not done right, and I don't think it was appropriate for that attraction.

The only place where it WOULD be appropriate is on Primeval Whirl, because that attraction IS supposed to be a cheap thrill ride. Although it WOULDN'T be appropriate to reference being at Disney, because it isn't supposed to be there.

THIS is EXACTLY the point I'm trying to make. If, for instance, he was pretending to be a Star Tours flight attendant and making stupid jokes, then maybe. But he wasn't, he was loading people on a theme park ride, it could have been exactly the same if he was putting people on the local state...

    Really Bothered at Star Tours

Turns out I did You're completely missing the point. Enthusiastic is one thing, this wasn't enthusiasm, it actually sounded more like he was annoyed more than anything. But it's not even that, it's the fact that by doing what he did, he's acknowledging that you are sitting in an amusement...

    Really Bothered at Star Tours

As the original poster of this thread, I don't think I ever said I was offended. But this comment that I quoted is kind of exactly what I was trying to get at. When you're on Star Tours, you are supposed to be on a commercial space flight, not a disney ride. When you are on Kilimanjaro...

    Really Bothered at Star Tours

It doesn't make me feel more involved, it's so incredibly cliche that it does nothing but annoy me. It's like, "take my wife, please". Regardless, it has no business on a Disney ride.

    Really Bothered at Star Tours

Last week, while visiting Hollywood Studios, we rode Star Tours. I've always loved the ride, in it's originally state, and it's current state. I especially love the Jakku scene. What bothered me was the guy who was working in our vehicle. First, everyone sits down, and he does the, "how's...

    Guess who...

Like I said, it only set us back a few minutes. By the time we got both kids to the bathroom, then took the tram over and walked down to baggage claim, 2 of our 3 pieces were already on the carousel, and the other was a few minutes later.
