Santa Makes Magic for One Special Girl

So, I wasn't going to share this post because of how deeply personal it is, and the fact that it involves my daughter, D, but with all the horrible crap happening in the world today, I thought I could share with you a ray of light. A glimmer of good. Hope for magic. Wednesday night, we went to...

To Cruise or not To Cruise - With a one year old...?

We took our son on the Wonder for 14 nights when he was 13 months and it was an awesome experience! It's unique from other vacations, and I think even easier, because when he needed to nap, one of us went back to the room and read, watched a movie, or napped, and the other could still have fun...

    Disney Cruise FAQ's

You can book for any staterooms that are linked to yours. If you aren't linked, just all DCL and they can link you, or I believe you can link through the website as well. The outfit you described would be perfect for Palo. No full suits required. No sports coats even. My husband wears dress...

    EPCOT Entertainment cuts

Just interjecting another opinion on the "positive" side. While I too will miss these acts, things do have to change sometimes and I am looking forward to seeing what's coming. I am very happy to hear that there IS something on the horizon and these acts aren't just being cut with no plans to...

    Disney Cruise FAQ's

The sooner you sign up, the more likely you are to get the one you want. I don't typically find huge lines at Guest Service upon check in, but it just depends on whether or not you board in the thick of the crowd. If you board early or late, there's usually little to no wait. I do recommend...

    Disney Cruise FAQ's

No, tipping at the end is sufficient, as long as you keep in mind any "above and beyond" service that you received and tip accordingly. I LOVE to dress up so I do bring a different outfit for each night, but you by no means have to. If you're eating breakfast or lunch at the buffet, a...

    Disney Cruise FAQ's

There's technically no snorkeling area at Serenity Bay, the adult beach, but if you can bring some gear with you over there, DO IT! The water is so much clearer and tends to get some cool aquatic visitors. One time, just sittin in a lounge chair in the water, a small ray swam over my foot!

We have been on The Dream twice will I like Wonder?

I'd take a classic ship any day! Not that the newer ones aren't impressive and beautiful, but the classics are smaller and tend to have the more "seasoned" crew. The Magic... Especially with its most recent renovations, is my favorite.

First time on a cruise - Advice?

Typically the "dance" club on each ship closes at 2am, though it's quite typical that they are empty by midnight.

Not to miss on Castaway Cay

On the walk out to the Heads Up bar, there are some hammocks with fantastic views of the ship. Grab a drink, lay back and take it all in! Also, if you have kids with you, the character meet and greets are fun. Cute costumes and you can't beat the background! Oh, and when you're back onboard...

Alright, I need your guys' help.

Shot in the dark, but any chance it was "Cruisin'" by Gwenyth Paltrow and Huey Lewis? I know I've heard that played on the ship and it's a slowish duet.
