Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I heard that a Tuppence a day will also feed small flock of birds.

WOW - What a week at WDW

Sorry, you don't comprehend, but what you want to do is not improve the plight of those tip reliant people. You want them to make the same amount of money except that you don't want to directly pay for it. You don't give a tinkers damn how desperately poor some of those folks are. If their...

WOW - What a week at WDW

OK, they were living on a low minimum wage plus an expected 18 to 20% tip. If they had an increase in wages due to governmental rules if you pay less, like your suggested, a 10% tip means that the not only do not make anymore money but there is a very good chance that they make less. Your...

I can't help it, everytime I see one of those this is all I can think of. That TV show Talking head host of movies. The one, the only Max Headroom. It might be just me but Max looks like the original designer of that electric piece of garbage.

It was my mother that always had a store bought box for me for Christmas. When she passed my sister began to give/send me some. Then my daughter started to learn how to make candy about 12 years ago and she began giving me a couple gallon food storage bags full of them for Christmas. They are to...

That's what we thought too. Oh well, good luck.

I'm not heavy into cookies, but Christmas does bring me something. My daughter makes home made, dark chocolate, cherry cordials (Chocolate covered cherries for those less cultured than myself 😉)

So should we be adding another star to our flag or are you folks going to just continue adding unnecessary letters to your words. Just asking! My daughters have duel citizenship because their mother was Canadian so it would be a smooth transition for them.

For Christmas eve it is the family to my older daughters house. Pot luck combined with a number of finger foods. Not to exciting but my parents always had a Christmas Eve gathering which she apparently decided to continue in their memory. I like it because until the younger kids were born we...

I've stayed in Universal resorts when I was splitting my park visits. I wouldn't dream of doing that if I were only going to the opposite parks. It also hinges on who has the best rates and even if Disney had the best rates that would probably be the same day the sun crashes into the earth.

I'm sure there are many that see it that way. I just don't know why one would want to spend that kind of money for what is "given". That is a personal decision but I have to wonder what percentage of people go to WDW and don't go to the parks when the whole reason for the resort to be there is...

I never for a minute meant to imply that Roy wasn't a very strong and efficient partner to Walt. But, it isn't possible to think that Walt wasn't willing to hear Roy out, with the exception of a couple of situations. It was indeed Roy that found the way to pay things off and keep a strong...

He runs the risk of hurting himself if he somehow catches your ability to fall a lot. With his height his head is two stories above ground level. It's a long drop.

I believe that the only thing he was mutually dependent on was the ABC Television Network and they on him. The one time they went public, if I remember correctly Walt bought them out and/or was the majority holder, if not total owner before he died. For that reason... he just plain was not happy...

Disney resorts do not offer any more, in fact, probably less than thousands of other resorts in this country and in the world. However, the parks are what makes that location unique and why people travel thousands of miles to see it. Hotels, high quality, relaxing hotels are everywhere and are...

50 years after his death, Walt's coattails are wearing terribly thin. We just do not have the weekly shows like "Wonderful World of Disney or Davy Crocker plus the other Disney shows and other than the digital world what they watch and support is a long way from what Disney was like. I realize...

That has been my point. For many years before I went the first time, living in Vermont made simply just the trip a much bigger financial and logistics problem than seems to be the problem today. As a kid I used to get into two things on TV. They included, with equal excitement waiting for late...

Finally someone realizes that what we saw years ago isn't a factor when someone is a recent visitor. I understand that and that is why I no longer see the joy that I once did in going to WDW. The attractions now are far and away more technologically advanced then in 1983 when at age 35 I saw it...

I must remember to check the Walmart sign at the one that I regularly use. Been here 13 years and I have yet to see those "Crazy people of Walmart" or a messy store. Target, on the other hand, has been a mess everytime I have gone to it. Maybe I'm living in a reversed image parallel universe.
