Funny enough, I think one of the things pushing people away from Disney is how complicated it is. The verbiage alone drives me nuts! Having to explain to first timers the difference between Disney Genie, Lightning Lane Single Pass, Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Premier Pass and VIP...

I thought about this. I think the problem is that Disney is pushing people who no longer qualify for DAS but can't stand in long lines to buy Lightning Lane. The new "re-entry" system isn't very well organized. If they eliminated LL, it would only hurt those people.

This is my exact thought on it. I don't find Express Pass necessary to enjoy Universal. And this won't be necessary to enjoy my day at Disney.

I think its looks great... I can't wait to stay there. Everyone hated Gran Destino Tower at CSR until it opened. And its now the most recommended place to stay if you stay at CSR. I think it will grow on people as time passes. Riviera looks far more out of place next to CBR than this does...

I'm really interested in how this will work. If you have to chase down a CM to get a re-entry pass, that could be problematic. In my case, I can tell when the episodes are about to start and get myself enough time to exit. But for others, they may not have time to look for a CM, get a pass...

This only works if you're traveling with another adult. If you travelling solo or with minor children, this doesn't work either. And it just kind of sucks... I tend to travel with my fiancé. If we have to spend the majority of our vacation riding or waiting separately alone... NO THANKS...

So final update! We will be split staying at AKL & POFQ. Very excited to see the AKL decorated for Christmas.

Unfortunately it a bit last minute for DVC Rentals. Most resorts are booked up for Nov & Dec.

AKL is about $580 more than POFQ for 7 nights. Would you still save the $$$ or is the upgrade worth the difference?
