My most used lens on my last two trips was a 35/1.4 on my X-T1. Next up was my 10-24. Love the 35/1.4 on the parks.

If it was one trip and just one day, I'd probably go with my XF 18-55 on my Fuji XT-2. If I was going multiple days, I'd spend an entire day with just the 35/1.4 and probably another with the 10-24. That said, I rarely use the 18-55 in the parks. It's usually either the 35/1.4 or 10-24...

You can get acceptable results with long shutter speeds on rides, just have to time it right and brace yourself. You can get decent DOF as well when distance to subject is great enough. This was a 35/1.4 wide open at 1/10s on my Fuji X-T1. It won't win any awards in the sharpness department...

This sucks for regular park goers. So they basically close early at 9 and it'll start filling up again around 7. We'll be there tomorrow and not happy at all as we like to close out the parks and enjoy the smaller evening crowds. Bad move Disney, will take my money elsewhere our next vacation.

I'm not an iPhone user so not sure how capable they are, but I agree they're great for snapshots and have pretty much completely replaced anything less than a DSLR or mirrorless kit. I'll continue to bring my Fuji mirrorless kit with me on trips to the parks for the quality and creative options...

They both have their place, depends on what you're wanting to capture.
