    Both parks in one day?

Ill chime in and put in another vote for skipping Versaille given the length of your trip. We went in December, and I do think it is definitely worth seeing, but you can easily eat up a whole day if you fully explore the entire site, and I think that you would be better off taking that extra...

    The Avengers Flight Farce

Put me firmly down in the Webslingers is trash camp. I also dont like Midway Mania. These types of rides would have been great 20 or more years ago, when you couldnt have a better gaming experience at home, these days it is just a waste (IMO). I will say that I can see a place for Buzz, Men...

    The Avengers Flight Farce

Agree that it goes downhill after launch. The projections are closer to Hyperspace Mountain than they are to Cosmic Rewind. They did a great job on the building and preshow, but at the end of the day, its pretty hard to take a pre-existing ride and try to wrap a new story/them on top of it...

    Both parks in one day?

Ill echo the comments, can you?..yes. Should you...no if you can help it. My first trip in 2019 was a day trip from Paris, and we didnt do studios. We were able to ride all the rides, but honestly we went so quickly through it all, my memory of the park quickly drifted with time since we took...

Back from 3 days/2 nights at DLP, just some thoughts

I am a big fan of your tribute videos and have watched all of them for WDW. I had been avoiding spoilers for PM, so thats a great reminder for me to go back and watch. Thanks

Back from 3 days/2 nights at DLP, just some thoughts

I will also say 3 days is the sweet spot. You really need 2 full days at the castle park. Our first visit was a one day, and while we "did everything" I didnt actually have the chance to really appreciate the park. Paris Disney is really about taking your time, soaking in all the details and...

Back from 3 days/2 nights at DLP, just some thoughts

Just returned home from 10 days in Europe with myself and the wife. We started with 3 days and 2 nights at DLP before moving on to Paris and Belgium, and I wanted to deposit my thoughts while they were fresh in my mind. Hopefully this is interesting to some, or possibly helpful for those who are...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

Remy dinner availability popped for our December trip, so I was able to grab that. Will grab a late lunch at Walts the next day. We know not to expect world class cuisine, but Im excited to check out the theming of both of these. We did Captain Jacks a few years ago and while the food was 'fine'...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

Finally booked our first post-covid return to Europe for December, starting off the trip with two nights at the Sequoia Lodge. We did our first/only visit to DLP back in 2019, and while we enjoyed it, we felt a bit disjointed just doing a day trip in from Paris (and Phantom Manor was closed), so...

Why do they not use the same ride systems within resorts?

I cant believe you havent been to Tokyo. Anyone that laments the state of WDW owes it to themselves to take a trip to TDLR.

    Horizons vs Mission: Space

Its no contest that Horizons is the choice. That being said, I think Mission Space (orange version) is one of the most underrated rides at WDW.

Phantom Manor vs Pirates of the Caribbean

It was soul crushing that PM was closed for refurbishment on our only visit to Disneyland Paris. Had a return planned for May 2020.....one day we will be back.

News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

Ive never seen WOC fully submerged in all of my trips to DL. Its pretty big eye sore, but still not as bad as the mess that they have dropped in the middle of the lagoon. Epcot was, and in some ways still is, my favorite park. I was there for the good days of Horizons and WoM and original...

    Fog on Splash Mountain?

Splash is such a disaster at WDW in its current form. So much so that I would welcome the re-fresh to PatF (not that I believe that will actually happen anytime soon, if ever). Ill stick to Tokyo for my real Splash experience.

Haunted Mansion vs Pirates of the Caribbean

Gun to my head, I choose Haunted Mansion. I think WDW HM beats DL and TDL. I prefer the plantation look at DL, but the ride itself is a a bit truncated compared to WDW. TDL exterior and interior is same as WDW, but its placement in fantasy land is hard to get used to. Pirates is tough. WDW...

    BEST (not favorite) Domestic Park?

Animal Kingdom If rides are the main priority, than there isnt an argument for anything other than DL. Animal Kingdom wins for me because of the incredible theming, great food, solid attractions, best shows (well...) and the fact that it is just so much different than any other park. There is...

Politics 28000 Layoffs coming to Disney's domestic theme parks - statement from Josh D'Amaro

I would think the best way to "track" cases that tie back to the parks would be the number of cast members who have confirmed positive. Not that they couldnt have gotten it at their grocery store, but it is at least a data point that could be looked at......in the unlikely event Disney would...

A sequel? Nah, not this one

How much of this 450 goes to paying the actors? Are they given royalties when doing something like theme park attractions, or is it a part of their movie deals? Anyone have any insight as to how that part of these attractions play out?

A sequel? Nah, not this one

I believe that Epcot GS is high right now. We visited twice on our recent visit and the low crowds and low waits were great. Plus, the WS is still a fantastic place for atmosphere. A walk around the lagoon is still a top 5 attraction for us when we visit.
