    Genie/LL Hopper Strategy

Thank you so much for this and all of the detail! You’ve swayed me and I will start in Epcot. It’s a but abnormal, but when I go to DHS, I’m actually planning to forego SDD, ToT and MMRR. Hopefully skipping these 3 will allow me some flexibility to hit everything else on the list in that...

    Genie/LL Hopper Strategy

Curious as to what the board thinks is the best approach. I have one day to do a DHS/Epcot on Saturday, 10/21 before a work conference starts. I will be solo. My general thought process is to start at DHS and hop over to Epcot at 2-3ish. I’m planning to buy Genie and the individual LL’s, as...

    October Timeline Question

Hi Everyone, I will be staying on property at universal as part of a work conference from Sunday 10/22 through Wednesday 10/25. I have not been to universal in like 20 years and would love to check out some of the stuff and especially the HP area. However, I really will not be able to do it...

I do enjoy horror, haha. Should add an extra element knowing that I’ll essentially be experiencing it alone haha.

    Traveling Solo to Universal

Hey everyone, I will be in the Orlando area for a work conference the last week of October and was planning to spend 2 days at universal. I haven't been there in about 20 years, so I am coming for some guidance. Questions: 1)Where would you suggest I stay? Since I am solo and it will be...

Changes in the last 2 years that burn your britches

All of the items mentioned above in this list, but I wanted to add a minor one. They totally butchered the remodel of Beaches & Cream. The theming before was excellent and one of the last places in disney that truly felt unique. It’s the epitome of Bob Evans “meh” now.

    Boardwalk area

Man the point you made about the background music missing is excellent. I’m a bit older now, but when I was a kid that whole area felt more magical and lively to me. I wonder why they got rid of the music too. Makes no sense.

    Sci Fi vs 50s

Thats a great little tidbit. Fortunately, no youngsters joining that would be afraid, although I can see how that would easily arise! These are the things you don't think about and why it's great to ask these questions on the forum.....

    Sci Fi vs 50s

Really appreciate all the feedback. It truly is incredible that this seems split right down the middle (even the voting is equal!). How rare is that? I think i'm leaning toward 50's, but i'd like to get to Sci-Fi on another day perhaps. Im heading down in November and it seems light the...

    Sci Fi vs 50s

Very interesting responses. Thanks everyone. I'd actually like to find a way to fit both in somehow! I think I'd like Sci-Fi more, but I'm bringing my parents, who both grew up in the 50s. Figured it would be a neat time for them. But then again,... Hollywood Brown Derby! Who knew DHS had so...

    Sci Fi vs 50s

Currently indecisive about which one to go to, as I haven't been to either in about 10 years (!), so I ask you, WDW Magic community, which one should be my choice? I understand the milk shakes are phenomenal at both :)

    Just booked for Nov 19-26th...

Hi all, I just (tentatively) booked for Nov 19-26th at the BC... A few questions: 1) Ideally, I would've liked to been able to go the week earlier (Nov 11th). Do you guys think there would be rooms available at the 90 day cancellation period and i'd be able to modify my reservation? I believe...

    Swinging for the fences

I appreciate the good ideas everyone. Especially the gift card/disney gift card. Thats probably the best route to take here. I thought I could "beat" the Disney system some way, but as we all know thats impossible. Haha!

    Swinging for the fences

I figured this may be an issue id run into. Ideally we'd like to eat a small breakfast, so/so lunch, and a signature dinner. If we ate huge every day, Id think we'd be full pretty quick. Guess there's no easy solution.

    Swinging for the fences

Interesting. For some reason I thought you had to be a Florida resident. We typically visit once a year for a week, so I suppose I have some research to do!

    Swinging for the fences

Thanks for the replies guys. We're going to be a party of 3, and staying at the YC. Were also from PA, so were out of luck with AP and TiW stuff. I've been to WDW a ton of times and have only done the dining plan once years ago and didnt think much of it. I figured since i was aiming for all the...
