Our home resort is SSR... We are new owners of two years. We stayed in a 2br at BLT last August and just returned from 8 days in a 1br over the 4th of July holiday at the BCV. So we are 2 for 2. Just as an aside...if you ever plan on going over the fourth of July, book only at the BCV, BWV or...

I guess choosing to stay at the BCV was a good one! We were back in our room in twenty minutes after the fireworks....which were incredible btw. would not have been happy standing on a bus or even fighting for the monorail. Sorry to hear all the troubles ppl had getting out with cars.

When we did our tour the four of us each received a $15.00 gift card. They actually gave us five so we got $75.00 to tour...well worth the time. We were never pressured to buy.

Not always true....we own at SSR and are staying at beach club for nine days over the fourth of July week. Called at the seven month mark and had a choice of BWV or BCV one bedroom.

I was just wondering how the following scenario works. Let's say we plan to vacation in July next year. Our home resort is SSR but we hope to stay at BWV. (we have 150 pts) . At 11 months we book SSR and hope to change our res at 7 months. All our points are used for the first booking. I log on...

We are SSR owners and are staying at beach club from 6-29 to 7-7 this year. We are staying in a 1 bedroom and could have booked at BWV too at 7 months. So my answer would be YES as long as your on the phone at the 7 month window. Good luck!

We were able to get BCV at seven months for fourth of July. We are SSR owners for two years and have yet to stay there. We probably won't stay there unless it is our last choice. It also helps we are flexible with our travel dates.

Sorry Goof, I only have done ddp b4 DVC. Not sure how it works for dvc'ers. Hopefully someone can answer that one for you. Btw we did do TIWL and it worked out great for us. Do the math and compare the two and check the menu at the restaraunts you will eat at and what you may order. You may find...
