Trip Report When WDW Became HOME.

Friday, 10/27/17 Holy Smokes! Did the morning ever come quickly! Our plan B that we had decided upon the night before got changed again. We decided that we would still get up for Epcot rope drop (it's nutty to waste the low wait times for some sleep). Plan C was to get up for rope drop and then...

Trip Report When WDW Became HOME.

MNSSHP.... Now, about a month prior to us leaving my husband says to me, "You don't have to do this, but I'm going to meet some Liners (members of a disney forum called "Lines") during the Halloween Party. To quote Clark W. Griswald, "If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I...

The fall is wonderful. First, the weather is great. Especially the end of Oct and the beginning of Nov. then you have Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival and the Halloween Party. It’s a great time!

Trip Report When WDW Became HOME.

It’s funny, when you live in the upper Midwest you have to cram 12 months worth of activities in the 3months of summer!

Trip Report When WDW Became HOME.

Yes! Healing was what we experienced, at least to a degree. The laughter sure helped u. Taking care of both dying parents, losing them and getting my degree was the hardest thing I have ever done but I have grown so much because of it. Our trip was a great way to celebrate life and accomplishment.

Trip Report When WDW Became HOME.

Thank you. Eleven nights was a dream and something we knew we would never do again, at least until my son was grown. I never thought I would have enough to do for 10 days, but even after 11 nights, I was not ready to go home.

Trip Report When WDW Became HOME.

We dried our tears and headed over to Tomorrowland where we went to "Infinity and Beyond" with Buzz Lightyear then climbed in our spaceship and explored Space Mountain. Then it was time for a family favorite.... the Peoplemover! It was great to sit and relax while taking in the sights and...

Trip Report When WDW Became HOME.

My apologies on how long it has taken me to post an entry. My son's baseball schedule has taken over the summer so far! Let's see, last time I posted we were headed into Adventureland. I can practically hear the drums now... The first time I had ever went to DW (I was 16yrs old) I was with my...

Trip Report When WDW Became HOME.

Thurs 10/26 The plan was to sleep in, walk around the resort and casually head over to Magic Kingdom for some fun with low crowds. We had tickets for MNSSHP for that night, but to add on another "day" onto our park tickets wasn't much at all so why stay away!? Ok, this was the PLAN. What...

Trip Report When WDW Became HOME.

There are times we take vacations with our families where we have wonderful times and can't wait to go back to experience more. Then there are times where you take a vacation and for whatever reason, you feel at HOME. You can exhale. Your goal changes from seeing things and experiencing things...

    Pre-Trip A Trip of a Lifetime Fall 2017

For the past three years I have prowled the trip report forum and lived vicariously through many of your vacations. Now, I find ourselves 18 days away from beginning our own moment – yet I find myself looking back on the highs and lows that have led to this “trip of a lifetime”. When my DH...

Pre-Trip Three years in the Making... a 6yr old little boy's dream come true Pre-Trip Report

Thank you! I'm glad to know we aren't the only ones using a stroller for a child at that age. We'd rather have him have fun than exhausted!

Pre-Trip Three years in the Making... a 6yr old little boy's dream come true Pre-Trip Report

We will keep our eyes peeled for you! I'm loving your trip report with all the gals!!! In fact, last night after reading and drooling over your picture of your sandwich from Captain Cooks I told my hubby that we really should make it a point to go over there for a meal!
