Best hotel pool for 5 and 3 year old?

Out of the resorts you are considering, I would recommend the Polynesian. Nice beach right by the zero entry area of the pool, and a slide the 5 year will like, a waterfall for the 3 year old. Plus there's a snack bar right there, at Captain Cook's. AKL's main pool is overly busy, crowded...

    Western Way and Hartzog Road?

We'll be renting in the Sunset Lakes subdivision, and are looking for non-192 ways onto Disney property. Does anyone know if Hartzog Road is now connected to Western Way, at Flamingo Crossings? Googlemaps shows a patch of undriveable, unpaved dirt road for a small section that would need to be...

So what's good at La Hacienda?

I'm having a big group dinner at La Hacienda in just a couple of weeks :sohappy: and I'm looking for suggestions as to what to order? Sit down dinner menu. I realize it's expensive, but I'm hoping it's worth it. How are the "handmade corn tortillas" -- anything special? What about the flour...

Need Chefs de France lunch suggestions

I can't decide! I don't want to do the prix fixe menu, because it sounds like too much food. I don't need dessert at lunchtime! The crepes they sell out in the kiosk is frozen, not freshly made, so those are out. The quiche I can get from the bakery, and believe me, I will, probably...

    Prime Time Cafe to Illuminations

Rob is correct. Walking always beats the boats, and his route is spot on. If you get out of the restaurant by 8 p.m. (which I doubt you will), take the boat but otherwise you will need to hoof it.

    Who's been to Sanna?

Loved our appetizers the most. I think I'd get all apps and then dessert, and skip the entrees next time. Samosas were insanely good. Service was excellent, and a nice setting. The staff did a fantastic job keeping our 10 year old entertained and happy with his food choices.

Advice on Best location for a 1br Villa @ Villas wilderness lodge.

We checked in early one year and got a killer corner room, but it was a Studio. It was super having the extra window! I'd ask if they have 1 bedrooms on a corner. I'd also ask for a room facing Bay Lake. It's not a full water view, but you can see some water through the trees, and it's a...
