Could the current Frontierland be mildly re-themed to the Midwest/Mississippi region and maybe even St. Louis as the gateway to the west? Then having the bayou next and a passage to a new Frontierland may be a little less jarring than going from the Northeast to New Orleans?

I hate to bump a thread but has this changed at all? I built some touring plans around using the boats to give my kids a rest but now realize that this might not be possible on the Mexico-Germany route (which we were going to use twice).

We decided to do this with our kids as May 24th was our 60 day mark. We tried to make a special event out of it by doing our FastPasses and making our band selections together only to find out they were sold out. I guess we will have to pounce on the next round.

With Lightning’s Academy right next door is it possible that they simply make it into a Cars attraction? The ride vehicle is already themed to a car. Based on their current efforts to save money and slap IPs on existing attractions, they could just put some eyes and a smile on the limos.

I think another issue is actually finding these movies now that places like Blockbuster are extinct. I personally subscribe to TCM so I have been able to catch a lot of classics like these, but outside of using an illegal download not many are readily available to stream (at least in Canada)...

Which of the other rides in Fantasyland have representation of an actual identifiable location like London? Beast, Mermaid, Snow White may all based on regions in Europe but none as specific as an existing city like London. They are fantasized versions of those regions.

Peter Pan starts and ends in London, a real location in the UK not a location in a fairy tale kingdom.

I think its been suggested before but this does seem like a unique opportunity to build the updated version of Peter Pan (from Shanghai), while the existing one stays open in the MK. Then once this opens, shut down the MK version and use that space for something new.

I think that this outrageous pricing issue applies to all forms of entertainment, not just Disney Parks. Movie Tickets, Concerts, Sporting events have all rocketed upward in the past 20 years much faster than the rate of inflation. I personally attend all of these activities much less frequently...
