My grandparents are contemplating going to WDW for Christmas this year or next year. But with higher prices, more crowds, and missing family events, they aren't sure if it would be worth it. Are the extra Christmas decorations and shows really worth the hassle and money?

I would love to see something with the Incredibles. I've always thought that movie was so funny and had so many true moments (like the scene where they are driving to the fight and arguing about which way to go, that is completely my parents :lol: )

I love the ocean scene, but I also like the part where you're flying with other gliders. It makes it seem so real to have "other people" flying with you :)

I always love the western scene. It makes me think of my dad and my grandpa, both of whom are big western fans :)

Splash Mountain has to be my all time favorite. It was the first "thrill" ride I ever went on as a kid, and will always hold a special place im my heart :D After my recent trip and writing a 6 page paper on it, the Haunted Mansion is a close second ;)

I'm definatly always amazed at how everyone at the parks picks up trash. I've seen tour guides, upper management Imagineers, and even other guests stop to pick up random pieces of trash!!

This is probably silly but I always have to have park maps. By the end of my trip I always have at least 3 maps of every park :lol:

I think riding the carousel at night gives it a bit of extra magic. And of course the exterior of the HM at night is amazing!!

I've always thought that the Kilimanjaro Safari seats would be very comfortable if not for the bumpy road :)

I think this is a great idea. Besides, if you can't be a bit cheesy at WDW, where can you? ;)

Definatly Splash Mountain. It's the only "thrill" ride my parents and grandparents will go on, so we always get a good picture of the whole family having fun :D

Definatly try to get in as much as you can. Something like MNSSHP will be something extra special he can talk about beyond a regular trip to WDW.

I know this is strange but I love waiting in line for the buses back to the hotel at the end of the day. Everyone is still pumped up from the day, and we talk about how much fun we had and what fun things we'll be doing the next day. For me those are great quality family times that are some of...

Although I know it's not classic WDW parks music, I love the loop of POTC soundtrack they play in Caribbean Plaza. It fits into the spirit of Adventureland so perfectly.

This summer my family will be in Orlando for a volleyball tournament my sister is in. They are going early to spend 2 days at WDW. They can only visit 2 parks, have decided to go to MK one day, but can't decide between EPCOT and HS for the 2nd day. Which would you choose and why?

If anyone in your group likes to draw, check out the animation studio in Hollywood Studios. The drawing classes are fun and easy, and you get to keep what you draw as a free souvenir :D

Although it's not a ride, I think One Man's Dream at Hollywood Studios should get more recognition. Without Walt Disney's vision, we wouldn't have a WDW resort to visit. Plus there's some really cool things in there to look at.
