Magic Band- 3rd party hotel room and theme park tickets

Hi, I'm hoping one of you nice folks can clear this up for me. I plan on booking a WDW hotel room only with an independent travel agent. I have checked and it is definitely cheaper than booking with WDW direct. I presume that when I check in at the hotel, I will be issued with a magic band as...

New RFID technology in the parks?

I think that what Disney is now proposing is to offer the theme park experience on two different levels; one for resort guests and one for "regular guests." I understand the need to create some incentive for people to stay on property but I feel this would be taking it a step too far...

New RFID technology in the parks?

Once again the loyal guests who choose to stay off-property yet still visit WDW every year are cruelly overlooked. That is unless they are planning to hand out wristbands to off-property guests as they arrive at the park each morning. That will make the morning rush for TSM look quite civilised.

    Show Fastpasses?

So I was just hoping for an update on this; 1) At DHS, Indy and LMA! both have the facility to dispense FPs... are they doing so now? How Likely is it they will be used mid July? 2) There was some mention on these boards a while ago of centralised FP distribution for FNTM, FOTLK and FoW at...

    Tuesday or Thursday for DHS??

So we are just planning our trip to The World in July :) Does anyone have an opinion on if Tuesdays or Thursdays are quieter at DHS? When we went last July, we only visited on Tuesdays but we are thinking of switching to Thursdays. We have to go one of these days as we don't get Hoppers and...

    Queue Time Updates

Hello all, So we are heading to the World in July and I was wondering are there any plans for WDW to introduce the same bluetooth information system DLP currently uses? This system was free and sent you live updates of queue lengths and show times- incredible time saver! I know WDW still has...

    SeaWorld Discussion Forum

Hey all, Does anyone know of a dedicated Seaworld fan site/discussion forum similar to this? I've been trawling thorugh the web for a while now but I can't seem to find one... surely there is a large enough fanbase for this string of adventure parks?

Walt Disney World 2010 - Press Release

What an absolute joke this "press release" has turned out to be. There is absolutely nothing of substance here whatsoever for your average walt disney world customer; a very small percentage of guests combine their vacation with a cruise and less still wish to spend their time on property...

Parade Routes in MK and AK

Hey all, Sorry to open up yet another of these threads but me and the faimly are heading to the world in 8 days and just wanted to confirm a few things... 1) Is the change to Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade route permanent? i.e. does it always start in Main St now? 2) What direction does...

    Least favorite disney park

Epcot- has to be. The park is shambolic, FW is very poorly laid out and the attractions are dull. The Land is a big dirty cafe that stinks of damp and disinfectant. Finally, for Disney to attempt to represent beautiful european countries in a couple of hundred meters is just insulting. Knock it...

    Disney Memories

This is a difficult one... I suppose my ultimate disney memory has to be sitting on the ground at the hub waiting for the 11.00pm Spectromagic last July just reflecting on the happenings of the day and looking forward to the next day at DAK. This is what Disney is all about for me, the sense of...

Celebrate Disney Dreams Come True Parade

Ok so i'm ridiculously overexcited about heading to the world in July and have been watching the new parade videos on you tube and really can't wait to see it myself. Anyone managed to get their hands on the title song/parade audio yet?? Do they sell CDs in the MK? As ever, disney music is...

Very busy Fantasmic shows with reduced performances

I'm sorry you had a traumatic time and I'm glad you finally got to see the show but I really have to take issue with the whole saving seats thing in general- not a personal attack on you, I assure you :). I'm a regular fantasmic viewer and it really annoys me that while my family and I queue up...

    Top Tips!!!

please oh please do not wear " packs" (you yanks have no idea how hilarious that is to us Brits) -they should be banned. Shorts with lots of zipped pockets are far superior. Pick up a show schedule early on and be sure to start hitting shows early (this only really applies to DHS) to avoid...

    Best Parks on a Fri/Sat/Sun?

My family and I always visit the world in July during peak season. Our findings over previous years mean we hit- 1) Epcot on a Friday 2) MK on a Saturday 3) AK on a Sunday and all 3 have very manageable crowds. Whatever you chose to do, have a great time

    Trouble seeing 3D Movie Attractions

hey, optometry student here thought I could shed some light on this for you. The main cause preventing people seeing 3D is, as another poster said, strabismus (aka squint or lazy eye) which can be horizontal or vertical. The 3D effects work because the 3Dglasses ensure your right eye sees one...
