Could Mr. Toad's Wild Ride ever come back...?

Just make the trip out to Disneyland for Mr. Toad - the parks are better out on the West coast anyway :)

    NYT: "Universal....Takes Aim at Disney"

I'm loving this thread! Also great to have '74 back - one of the few sane voices on this website. Thank you for your input as always. On topic - Universal has been pushing the envelope ever since they started to design Potter. They took a big risk with what could arguably have been the last...

Opps, they did it (upstaged?) AGAIN!

You're right - those high profits are really helping to improve the parks. How silly of me, WDW is the best at everything!

Opps, they did it (upstaged?) AGAIN!

Always falls back onto this argument, doesn't it? Yes, WDW will always have more visitors and revenue, we get it by now. Spiderman is about to become the best dark ride (yet again) with these upgrades and you argue attendance and revenue. Typical fanboi argument, it's really getting stale.

    Dinosaur Audio Effects Changes

You're right - Universal has no choice. They hold themselves up to show quality standards, something Disney used to do years ago. Universal does it to make sure the ride is close to 100% show quality as possible upon opening every operation day. Prime example - the first mummy AA in Revenge...

Harry Potter IS making a difference!!

This is a joke right? Because if you had been on both you wouldn't even be using both of them in the same sentence.

Orlando Thrill Park unveils 14 rides

Been waiting for someone to get some balls and build a thrill park, traffic will be awful in that location however. I'll still get an AP if this actually goes through.

WDW set to raise prices once again -- myFOXOrlando

I wasn't saying Universal will ever surpass Disney to be the #1 destination in Orlando, that's a pipe dream. I was simply talking value since we were on the topic of ticket prices over the years. Anyway, enjoy the price hike increase and those M&G's, I'll enjoy what the old imagineers working at...

WDW set to raise prices once again -- myFOXOrlando

Adding to the E-tickets before WWoHP, Ripsaw Falls should be added to the list, and to the previous poster, the WWoHP expansion was around a $400 million price tag when it was all said and done. Also Universal tickets for the longest time were a 7 day park hopper for $99, so I don't agree with...

    Water parks evening EMH?

Question for those of you that have gone before, if you are already in the park do you need to receive a wrist band like they used to give out at the 4 major parks before they have you show your room key, or will I have to show my room key to get on the slides etc. That is, assuming anyone has...

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - soft opening status

Capacity will be fine, it will be no worse than say emporium or mouse gear crowded feeling.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - soft opening status

I've been going to Disney since I was 2 years old. After previewing the new island, I have to say this is the top area in Orlando now. You will simply be blown away by the amount of detail they have put into this thing, it really is "Unreal".
