They are very quick, and so tiny so they probably find it really easy to get past you without you seeing them.

I like lizards...odd how I really don't like snakes as they sort of look like lizards with no legs.

Thank goodness they seem to prefer to keep out of the houses/hotel rooms - they probably are as scared/fed up of us when we are invading their space (the swamp/outdoors areas) as I would be if it came into my hotel room.
