I've never had issues with POR either, and I'm a little picky. I actually left ASMu after 15 min because the room was gross, there was luggage up and down the hallway, and it was too loud. I usually stay in moderate or deluxe, and POR is one of my favorites. Especially love the Alligator Bayou...

Ditto (on the ebay thing). But I randomly saw a girl in Target with the Shapers of the World shirt on today! I was like "Whoa... Coincidence?" ;)

I live in Central Florida and have been to WDW 4-5 since May, and I haven't seen these shirts (I looked). So based on GlenAngl's post, they MIGHT still be had in one of the outlets...

It seems so, doesn't it? I wanted one of these...guess I'll have to try eBay! :shrug:

I know this thread is pretty old, but what happened to these shirts? I saw them at the parks for awhile, but as of at least a couple months ago, they weren't there anymore...

The thing I'm most undecided about now is the hotel. I was set to book a value resort, but I've read such mixed reviews...specifically the noise. I'm like some quiet when I return from a long day, and I'm afraid there will be large groups of cheerleaders, pop warner players, etc. running...

Hi Everyone, I'm thinking of taking a solo trip very soon, and wanted to see if anyone had advice, ideas, etc. Here's a little background that might help: I've been to WDW hundreds of times, and have stayed at both Port Orleans hotels, Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club, Contemporary, Wilderness...

DisneyDiva, Does your monorail "say" different things as it approaches the different hotels? For example, does it say something about the Polynesian as it approaches or goes by it? Or does it always do the standard "Please stand clear of the doors..."? Thanks!

This is an old thread, but hopefully some of the people who posted can help. Whenever I see video (like YouTube) of other people's Monorail sets, the spiel changes as their monorail approaches one of the hotels. I have the blue Monorail and Contemporary, but the spiel doesn't change when it...

I've stayed in both hotels, and it really depends on what you're looking for. Personally, the Contemporary is one of my favorites-- it's just such a special part of WDW. You're so close to the Magic Kingdom, and being on the Monorail line is great. If you can, get a MK view-- it is truly...

Thanks for the info! I just checked the letter, and unfortunately it doesn't say what view we have (nor does the reservation online). Oh well, it sounds awesome no matter what the view is! :)
