    TDL Country Bear Jamboree Question

PrinceCharmant, thanks for the real information on CBJ. I think I have been there once and I remember two ways to enter into the Country Bear Theater. It has been a long time since I went there. I was getting my source for CBJ from this book. It was published 11/29/2006...

    Tokyo Disneyland Crowds

I got some more definite days which will be highly busy in TDL in March 2009. March 14th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th, and 30th. If you go to TDL on these expected busy days, buy or exchange prepaid tickets for your entrance tickets before the tickets sell out for that day. Here's the...

    Tokyo Disneyland Crowds

Yeti, expect TDL to be busy everyday. There is definitely no recession in TDL.* If you know how to use the FastPass system to your advantage, go for it and good luck. I totally agree on csm on the Japanese people, but also try to speak English slowly to the workers there for help...

Check out my Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland videos!

BarryH, Thanks for putting up your videos. My favorite part in your TDS shot is the “Lido Isle Meet & Smile”, the second to the last scene in your video. I always go there first to start my day at TDS. I’m into photography and your videos were all cropped and balanced very well. Nice.

TDL Haloween 2007 CD or TDL Haunted Mansion Holiday CD

I don't have either CD, but one can buy these two CD's from the Disney Store here in Japan. The first CD is from the parade showings. The second CD songs are from the Haunted Mansion attraction, I think. I might buy the second CD this weekend. If I do, I will write up more about the CD...

    Muppets

I did a quick search of The Muppets in Yahoo Japan</ST1:p and there are websites and blogs of The Muppets, so yes there are some fans of The Muppets here in Japan</ST1:p. I’ve just never heard anyone of my friends here in Japan</ST1:p ever talk about past shows of The Muppets.<O:p</O:p...

    Muppets

The reason why I mentioned NHK is because in the years of 2000, 2001, or 2002 my first child was watching Sesame Street here in Japan on NHK Educational channel. It's like PBS in the states, but they never brought in Kermit and the gang the following years. I don't know why. The most logical...

    Muppets

Let's see, Kermit the frog or Miss Piggy or the rest of the Muppet cast, hasn’t come up in conversation or in NHK, a Japanese TV broadcast channel, in Japan since I’ve been here. There haven’t been any Muppet figures in second-hand stores either. But, I wouldn't be surprised, if there would be a...

    Roger Rabbit License Plates

I do have the book. It's based on last year's information. It doesn't mention this year's opening of the Pirates of the Caribbean opening in July 2007, but this book is the most current this year.

    Roger Rabbit License Plates

This is all I can read from this book about the license plates from Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin in TDL. This book has a 1 inch down by 3/4 inch across picture of seven license plates only. Here's the source...

    Tokyo Disneyland's 25th Anniversary 2008

Wow! The 25th Anniversary for Tokyo Disneyland is next year. It doesn’t look a year old. Seriously, there are no cracks on the pavement of TDL. TDL has the same exact feel when I started going there in 1994. The paint on each building is fresh and every worker there give service with...

Disney Is Calling For All Pirates In Hong Kong

beachclubbasics: This winter was unusually warm. I don't know. I live two hours north of Tokyo by Shinkansen (bullet train). There is usually no snow in Tokyo. The snow rarely piles up.

Disney Is Calling For All Pirates In Hong Kong

I called TDS about the sailing ship in Tokyo Bay. They said they did not know of any existence of a ship related to TDS in Tokyo Bay. I did more research on this mystery ship and there are sailing ships for sightseeing and there is also is a sailing ship festival in May.

Disney Is Calling For All Pirates In Hong Kong

That's funny. My family and I went to TDS Saturday April 7th and we saw a pirate like ship around ten o'clock in the morning from the monorail out in the bay. It had at least four or more masts. The sails were down and the weather was clear, but it was too far away to read any flags of origin.
