For my October trip I paid $525 from MN...that is the most I have paid for Orlando. I can typically find under $300. I am told this is one of the busiest times to fly from MN....MEA break for school kids.

I think it is worth it! Adults love it just as much as the kids. I enjoy parade, fireworks and the Twas the night before Christmas show. The cookies and cocoa are a bonus too! If you enjoy Christmas at all you will LOVE it!!:xmas:

I love Chef Mickey's for breakfast! Askerhaus is fun if you have little girls. If staying at POR - I enjoyed the make your own yogurt parfait each morning there! Quick and refreshing way to start the morning.

If you want a step back to the 50's and some good home cooked food go for the Prime Time. If you want a good burger, milkshake and the chance to watch movie clips go to SciFi. My pick would be 50's Prime Time - and yes been to both!

I have stayed at both resorts. I think the moderate with the free dining is the way to go. POR to me did not see that large from a walking perspective. It was easy to get from one place to another. We never had issues with the buses and there were 5 of us. I can tell you that we did board...

What about a custom made t-shirt? use one of the many sites (cafe press). On the back you could create a checklist of things you are going to do and be creative with the front of the shirt.

I would not stress over finding a 4th person. I have gone in the past with 3 people - we took turns on who sat alone or with the 'stranger'. One the flip side I have gone with 4 people and one of the riders does not like coaster - she would sit those out so we were back to the 3 people on...

My two favorite buffets for breakfast are Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. At the CP they have a breakfast lasagna with fruit, waffles, pancakes, etc that is layers of goodness! If you have little ones along they are great character interactions too.

I tried calling yesterday and was also told that dining will not be booked until 90 days out. Sounds like they are trying to get all of the dining to the same timeline. Wonder if that has something to do with the new on line booking system. I keep calling about every other week just in case...
