so i'm planning on going to disney world with 3 of us. my question is should i try to find a 4th person to go (which i'm kinda trying to do and no one wants to go)...reason being because i know a lot of rides such as splash mountain, spaceship earth, etc... only have a spot for 2 people to ride together (side by side i mean) & i really dont want any one to have to ride by themselves or with a stranger. any advice? i mean am i overthinking it by not wanting anyone to ride alone or should i really try to find that 4th person so its even? lol

also how crowded is it around dec. 19 - 23rd? it being around christmas and all.

Having only 3 people is fine and easy to manage. On my trip back in 05' ,two of my greatest friends and I ran around the parks with no problems and we were only separated on 2 rides.
That being said on rides like SSE and Splash they will keep you all in the same car and put 2 in 1 row and 1 in another without another rider. However on rides like RnRC, and EE someone will be seated with a single rider, but honestly it's not so bad, the ride is such a thrill that they won't have a chance to chat! I must remind you that on some rides it seats 3 per row or car like TT, HM, JiIwF and PotC so keeping your group to 3 may be the way to go.
Whatever you choose I'm sure you will have a blast!

My husband, son and I go to Disney World each year and we just alternate who rides with who each time. We always tell the CM 'three' and so were always right in front/back of each other. :)

I would not stress over finding a 4th person. I have gone in the past with 3 people - we took turns on who sat alone or with the 'stranger'. One the flip side I have gone with 4 people and one of the riders does not like coaster - she would sit those out so we were back to the 3 people on those rides. The trip will be fun either way - just don't stress and over think things. :D

We always go with three people. Not a problem, one of us would sit with DD and now that she is older we do single rider lines whenever we can. We don't mind at all sitting with a stranger. It can even be fun! Imagine fun at WDW!!!

You'll be fine. There are only a handful of attractions that only sit 2 people. I didn't mind sitting alone when I went last because the people you're with are usually always right behind or in front of you. The way we settled who would ride alone is by rock, paper, scissors. :P

With the exception of one trip with an ex-girlfriend, it's always been me and my parents (and might have been this fall too, if not for the depression). Three's great, and having an occasional stranger on the popular E-ticket's is not an issue.

Just think, you'll be making those in the single-rider's line happy! :) (I hope I can give that a whirl someday).

There isn't much in the way of rides that can't sit three people in a row. There are a couple exceptions, but mostly you should be safe. plus switching back and forth wont hurt every now and then.

you should be fine with 3 people!! we have went with odd numbers quite frequently! Go and have fun, as for when you are looking to go, I will say that the closer it gets to Christmas the larger the crowds are.

If it's not too busy they won't seat anyone with the third person. It might be mildly busy at that time, though, since winter break might have started for some schools.
