    Gaston's Tavern

I believe the issue is a result of having different liquor licenses. I had the same issue at Universal. We tried to bring Hurricanes back to our hotel (Royal Pacific) and were told we had to finish in CityWalk because there is a separate liquor license for CityWalk, each resort and the two parks.

Should we expect any major announcements regarding WDW at D23 expo next month?

I rarely post, but have been following the boards since 2005. I was just shocked what Disday said to Lee. I like the boards for the fun and excitement not all the negative comments.

    Airline Help!

I read an article once that suggests booking on Tuesday afternoons. Supposedly, that is when fares are normally at there lowest.

    Monorail Resorts

I've stayed at Poly and Contemporary, but not yet GF. I can say out of the two I would go back to the Poly in a heartbeat. The contemporary was nice, but the resort itself has many issues. Contemporary Pros - beautiful view, nice upscale rooms, the monorail is right there(but not really-check...

    Worst Meal at Disney

I would have to say the most disappointing was Ohana. The food wasn't horrible, but a major let down for sure.

Your favorite 2 dining credit option?

Totally worth it. It was the best meal I've had so far at WDW. Way better than the much overrated California Grill. They didn't have and restrictions on the menu when I went which my partner and I both got surf and turf. I loved the steak, the lobster wasn't great, but still quite good. The view...

First look at the new 'Cantina de San Angel' counter service menu

I'm actually quite excited about the new menu, I'm hoping the small menu is a reflection on focusing on just a few great and fresh dishes. I don't get why everyone got so negative so fast before even trying it and seeing the portion size. It seems everyone jumps on the negative bandwagon as soon...

How many more years do you give yourself at Disney?

Forever and ever. Forever ever. I couldn't imagine my life without going to Disney World at least once a year.

Monsters Inc coaster greenlit and Spain coming to world showcase?!?

Just to fuel the rumor mill even more about adding another country. At the Vinylmation Trade City Event, they announced a Vinylmation Flag Series. The series features 12 countries flags. Eleven of the vinylmations are the current countries in the World Showcase (Mexico, Norway, China, Germany...

What is your favorite WDW resort and why?

    1. AKL - the lobby is jaw-dropping every time I have stayed there, the decor is perfect and my aunt works at the pool bar 2. Poly - spacious room, view of MK, the waterfall in the lobby, 24 hr. dole whips 3. Pop - great price, the resort bleeds fun 4. Wilderness - the fireplace, the boat ride...

Getting from WDW to that other theme park

I was wondering if anybody knows the cheapest way to get from a WDW resort (I'll be staying at the Pop Century) to Universal Studios? We are going on a vacation in May and we are planning to go to Universal for 2 days alogn with our Disney experience. How much does a taxi roughly cost from Pop...

You might be a redneck at WDW if...

when asked if your mother-in-law needs a wheelchair you respond with "Nope, she brought her 4 wheeler." you get mad there aren't any trucks to eat in at the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater. you inform other WDW guests that the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure looks like your backyard.

    Pirates rehab and enhancements confirmed!

I think the enhancements will be a great addition as long as it doesn't change the ride too much. I Hope they aren't rehabing for my May trip. I have friends going who have never been to Disneyworld.
