Taking the family to WDW next week. We have 3 kids (5,3,1). Does anyone know if there is a place where we can get the kids to meet and take pictures with Santa? I heard about the MVMCP. Is it worth going? Especially with the three kids?

Bringing outdoor toys for the rest areas is a great idea. I'm planning a drive down with my wife and three kids 5,3,and 1 in December from NJ. I would not have thought about it if you hadn't mentioned it. Thanks for the tip!:sohappy:

Last year, we went to 3 Character meals. Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, and Ohana's. Both my daughers 2 and 4 at the time loved Ohana's. The family style serving was also great compared to the buffet styles at Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace.

For our trip this December, we have a children's daycare expense account which money gets taken out of my check. We haven't been claiming the money all year long. In November, we'll claim it all and have $2500 for the trip. Might start it again for next year.:animwink:

How is the drive down the eastern seaboard?

Thanks all for your input. Airfare isn't a factor. Its more for comfort and convenience. Instead of carrying all the luggages, carseats, and strollers on the plane, just pack it all in the minivan. I'm just not sure how the 15 hour drive will pan out. Its just a dilemma we're into now.

Still undecided whether to drive or to fly down to Orlando from New Jersey. We have 3 kids under 5 and for those who know, there's a lot of bags, strollers, car seats, etc.... We flew down last year and it went well. We rented a minivan last year since we flew. This time around we thought...

Planning a trip in December 06. This will be the first time to go there during Christmas season. We have 3 kids all under 5 years. We booked a room at the Swan since a friend of ours got us a great discount. Are there any recommendations about the Swan? What floor/side should I ask for...

Does anyone know how often people cancel a reservation for character dining? I was hoping to sqeeze in a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table for next week.

Thanks...I guess I'll just buy the 10-day premium w/o exp before I go next week. I'll just try and use up my left over days from last year...if any.

I purchased tickets last year and not sure if I used up all my days. Is there any way I can check to see how many days I have left?
